  • Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal

Verily, the story Biff has to tell is a miraculous one, filled with remarkable journeys, magic, healings, kung fu, corpse reanimations, demons, and hot babes. Even the considerable wiles and devotion of the Savior's pal may not be enough to divert Joshua from his tragic destiny. But there's no one who loves Josh more (except maybe "Maggie," Mary of Magdalan) and Biff isn't about to let his extraordinary pal suffer and ascend without a fight.

A gentle, imagnitive read. This book is sure to enlighten, and entertain,.. funny as hell. I was surprised at how easy this book was to digest. Garenteed to give you new perculiar perspective on one of humanities oldest diatribes.

Sally and Anne Mae Harris, the deeply loved wife and daughter of successful L.A. cartoonist Mica Harris, wake after a devastating auto collision to find themselves in a strange and dangerous limbo. On a trip to Copenhagen a year after the accident, Mica believes he is hallucinating when he sees the two of them, seemingly still alive. What's more, for the briefest of moments before they are whisked away, he is convinced they recognize him, too...

    Overall

The narration of novels for audio format is often best left to trained voice actors. On occassion I have noted the exception to this rule, an example being William Gibson's 'Neuromancer' which turned out to be a beautiful read. 'Devils' however, does not fit into this category.
I would warn anybody who comes across this review not to waste your money here. This is not an audiobook, it is simply a very sloppily strung together sequence of podcasts, recorded in extremely low fidelity (likely on the authors home PC.) With concern to the actual content of the novel, I could only imagine that large quantities of LSD were ingested before its conception.

I challenge Audible.com to raise the quality of there content after this experience.
