Fun, Fantastic, Inspired
It did keep me on the edge of my seat, because I wasn't sure where it was going to go. I would think I has it figured out and then someone else would die and I had to try again.
I can't really pick a favorite because Katherine Kellgren is so good I love them all.
I love this series and I love, love, love the narrator. These stories help me get a lot of housework done.
Kristen Ashley can tell a story. I like that there is always something going on in her stories. I also like the danger level of her stories. I enjoy guns and mayhem as much as a romance.
I enjoyed the story, the language of the story got on my nerves after a while, too many "Baby" lines and seriously, nobody should ever use that many F-bombs in their everyday speech.
I really like audio books as I can move around and get work done around the house, so yes, I like the audio version better than print.
Sandman Slim is a different kind of hero, he's the "good guy" (hero) but he's really fantastic at being "bad". He is a survivor, so he's done what he has had to do to, and they aren't necessarily good things. Bottom line, I don't know who I would compare to, but I really like him.
Sandman Slim was my favorite character.
The story continues from The Lost Fleet, but isn't the same. It never lost my interest.
I would never have picked this book for myself, I got it for my husband to listen to. We ended up listening to The Lost Fleet series together and then we wanted more... I wanted more. This is a really great series.
Mercy Blade ranks very high on my list of favorites. Khristine Hvam is one awesome narrator. She ranks as one of the best in my listens also. This book has a strong female lead character along the lines of the Mercy Thompson series.
This narrator is flawless in my estimation. Love her.
The very top of the list
I liked the story line, nothing seemed implausible.
The personalities of the characters. Each and every voice was distinct and easily recognizable.
The movie tag line would read Monster Hunter International, We Survived and So Will You!
I chose this book thinking my husband and son would like it. I never thought that I would love it as much as I did. I plan to buy the series.
I really love that you just can't keep Georgie down.
Rhys Bowen does a great job of revealing just enough to let you think you have it all figured out and then pulling the rug out from under you. Although, I don't try really hard to figure it out because I like to be surprised at the endings.
I love the scenes with Georgie and Belinda.
I really liked this book and will definitely listen to more of them. The narrator is absolutely fabulous.
Yes, I would recommend it. It is light and just fluffy enough to be totally entertaining.
I loved it when she would read people and tell them stuff that just knocked their socks off.
Loved them all.
Abby Cooper; You can't keep her from finding out.
