"Very satisfying overall, quality material."
The story was better than many reviewers will have you believe. I honestly believe it was a solid 4.0 story with a 3.0 ending. Again, there was nothing wrong with the story. The ending was not bad at all, it just could have been expanded on. Sort of like a cliffs notes ending.
The different style was no big deal because there was quality material.
I recommend this to readers of the first two books in the series. Even without the first two books I think this would be a good listen.
"Pretty good story"
The only thing I disliked was the narration of the women and kids voice. Their voices weren't awful, but maybe a little too much effort (like most men trying to sound small or feminie). This story is good and keeps you wondering what will happen next.
"Different,"
Its dark but not your typical dark. It definitely had something others don't. Worth the read.
"Shallow story + filler = boring"
The first and last hour were okay but everything between was soooo boring. I kept hoping for a story but it was more like hours of descriptions of things that didn't matter. There was too much conversation and not enough happening for hours and hours. I almost stopped listening but wanted to give an accurate review. This is the worst zombie book I've read.
"Zombie Fallout at its best"
Maybe the best in the series. Great story, great characters, great narration and all put together so perfectly. Thanks you Mark Tufo.
"Left a lot to be desired"
This is my 13th zombie book and It was definitely a tier 3 book. Don't get me wrong, there were some very good parts but there was a lot of boring stuff too. The beginning was too long for what it brought to the table. It was good enough if its one of your last options.
"Good"
Book 3 was up to my expectations and finishes up the series nicely. Finding another series on this level will definitely be a challenge.
"Not Bad"
It got the job done, and I've read better and worse.
Definitely had a strong urban military feel with zombies. The book lacked the wide perspective of many top tier zombie/apocalypse books like World War Z, or Day by Day Armageddon. There were a few creepy moments. If you want city, military, zombie this is the one.
"Couldn't Ask for More"
This is the best series of zombie/apocalypse out there, followed by World War Z, and The Morningstar Strain.
"Best in this Genre. #1"
I didn't want to stop reading.
In my opinion, Day by Day Armageddon is the best zombie/apocalypse series out there, followed by The Morningstar Strain and World War Z tied at second place. Day by Day Armageddon had great narration, story development, action, realism, and characters. You won't want to put this book down so make sure you have some free time. Absolutely read this book. I am desperately waiting for the third book in the series.
