I have read many, many stories on the holocaust. This story is very touch and I just love Wanda McCaddon's accent. I could wait to listen everyday on my way to work. Highly recommended.

Yes, unfortunately I had to listen for only 1 hour at a time. Many times found myself wanting to sit in my car and listen to more once I'd reached by destination.
Christopher Lane did an amazing job as narrator. His accents and changes in his voice for different characters was awesome. It made the book so much more enjoyable to listen to. I would definitely seek out other books he narrates.
Although perhaps many scenes were embellished for this book, I don't think it made the book less interesting, noteworthy or important. I have read many books on the Holocaust and this was one of the more interesting and captivating.
Perhaps, but just different when listening. You can picture it easier.
the author's descriptions, even though some were gruesome, it made it true to life.
