"Auughhh when will it end????"
Usually love Koontz, however, this seemed to go on forever!! As a matter of fact, I have had it for 3 months and still haven't finished it. Way to descriptive and the character does the dumbest things, I found listening to be irritating.
"Excellent!!!!!"
A wonderful book I would recommend to almost anyone. It is not as weird as some Steven King books I have read but has just enough weirdness (if that is a word) to make it great!!!! I found myself "taking the long way" in my car just so I could listen to more. I hate to drive (but spend allot of time on the road) and this book made me look forward to driving. Definitely worth the credit and would even be worth buying if you don't have any credits built up!!!!
"WOW.......GREAT BOOK!!!"
I have become a HUGE Jack Kilborn fan. I listened to "Afraid" first and couldn't get enough. I was so excited to begin "Endurance" and I was not disappointed. I use to be a big fan of Dean Koontz but I have to admit Mr. Kilborn has him beat. If you love horror stories you will not be disappointed in this book. Just be prepared to listen because you will not be able to press pause!!!
"Don't waste a credit"
This book was terrible. I'm feeling generous just giving it the one star.I only made it through the first half (I kept thinking it would get better) and then I couldn't take it any more. If you want to hear the minutest details of how cows have sex then this is the book for you. Otherwise, I would recommend something else!!
"Great Book BAD NARRATION!!"
This was such a great book but the narration was horrible. I contemplated only giving it 3 stars because of that, however, I really loved the story. I have read other reviews for the sequel "Contagious" and everyone says that Mr. Sigler does a better job narrating it, I truly hope so. Still, all in all, the story is good just buy the book with an open mind!!
"FANTASTIC!!!!"
This is the first time I have ever rated any title 5 stars. I absolutely loved this book, everything about it was great. It was very exciting right from the beginning, I would recommend it to anyone who loves thrillers. I am a huge Koontz fan but I am switching over to Jack Kilborn. Mr. Kilborn does not go over board with his description to details like so many other authors do and Phil Gigante's narration was PERFECT!!!!! I could vividly picture each character and really get into what was happening to them. This is the first book I have listened to that caught my attention in the first 5 minutes. It had a great plot twist and the characters were strong and determined. I couldn't wait to get back into the car and listen to more. I will be anxiously waiting for Afraid's sequel "Trapped" to come to audible and I will be listening to more of Mr. Gigante as well.
"Great!!!"
I have never read or listened to anything by this author but I really loved it. I liked the way the story was told, it was more like listening to a play. Very good story line and moral if you listen closely enough!!
