I really enjoyed this book. The subject matter was interesting. I kept guessing at who the villian might be up until it was revealed. Recommend this book. Narrator did a good job. She really did excellent with the little girls voice--sounded just like a 7 yr old should.

I really enjoyed this book. The story is interesting with all the details about fire. The Narrator does an excellent job with all the voices. I agree with one reviewer who said it took too long for the characters to make the connection as to who the villian was but still it was a good read.

I know the Bible says the fight is not of flesh & bone but of the spiritual realm & we really don't see it but this was a bit out there. And as much as these characters used the name of Jesus--these demons should have scattered a thousand times. But I guess while they used the name Jesus they didn't use it in the correct spirit of IN the name of Jesus but in a cursing and in vain sort. Anyway--I was interested to see how the whole series ended even though I doubt that it all would add up in reality or in the spiritual realm. I'm glad I finished the series but don't really want to see these characters or storyline again. The narrator was good.

For Fox, Caleb, Gage and the other residents of Hawkins Hollow, the number seven portends doom - ever since, as boys, they freed a demon trapped for centuries when their blood spilled upon The Pagan Stone.

A lot of the paranormal stuff doesn't really make much sense to me but I still enjoy the charactors & can't wait to see how the series ends. This narrator is much better than the 1st book.

This is a wonderful book. I really enjoyed the storyline as I do most of Nora's stories. The narrator was excellent. I wish he read all the audiobooks I listen to. None of his characters were over the top. His men sounded like men & the women didn't sound like drag queens like some male narrators' women voices do. I really enjoyed everything about this book.

Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys - Caleb, Fox, and Gage - went on a camping trip to the Pagan Stone. And 21 years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men - and the women who love them.

This narrator is terrible. The voices he uses for the women makes them all sound frail and weak. And the Bronx accent for Layla makes her seem plain stupid. Fox sounds goofy & as dumb as a bag of rocks not like a lawyer at all even a small town one. The voices for the male characters when they were younger were ok & so were the older Cal & Gage--but the rest of the cast is so bad it makes it hard to listen to. I was glad when I saw this narrator isn't used for the rest of the series. The story is good though I must say. I'm glad I also have the kndle version so I can read a good bit of it.

Lunacy was Nate Burke's last chance. As a Baltimore cop, he'd watched his partner die on the street - and the guilt still haunts him. With nowhere else to go, he accepts the job as chief of police in this tiny, remote Alaskan town. Aside from sorting out a run-in between a couple of motor vehicles and a moose, he finds his first few weeks on the job are relatively quiet. But that's about to change.

While one could say that most books in the romance genre following the same basic format--it's the back story that makes a book interesting or not and gives it its uniqueness. This back story is definitely interesting & unique. I really like the Alaskan setting & the suspense was intriguing. I'd picked out every character in the story (at one point or another) to be the villian before it was finally revealed. The narrator did a good job with the exception of the mayor's voice. The mayor is an older woman with a foghorn laugh--the narrator kinda over acted her part. But other than that (which is very tolerable) he did an excellent job. Overall I enjoyed the book & performance & would recommend it all the way around.

Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro.... As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be - except for in her love life....

I enjoyed this book but I think it was mostly because I enjoyed the first 3 books in this series so much. I think this one lacked something. Parker & Mal didn't really have that much chemistry to me. However, the ending was pretty sweet. I would still like to read more about the Bridal Quartet because even though I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others--I did like the series & I recommend this book. The narrator did a good job but I didn't really like her voice for Mrs. Grady--a little too old & decrepit sounding. Everything else was good though.
