In this hilarious Southern folktale, mean old Boss Lion threatens the peaceful folk of Brer Village, and Brer Rabbit is forced to teach the carnivorous trouble-maker a lesson he'll never forget. Brer Rabbit outsmarts the baddest fella in the forest, then saunters back to town as the local hero. This witty, playful adaptation, perfectly complemented by gritty bayou blues, is just the kind of fun your family will enjoy again and again.

“Brer Rabbit and Boss Lion” is a great audiobook that you cannot afford to skip out on! Danny Glover’s narration is perfect for this story as he narrates with such energy and intensity that he makes this story both thrilling and hilarious at the same time. Dr. John’s music is probably the true highlight in this audiobook as he uses blues style music to bring more soul to this story. I would strongly recommend this book to children of all ages for its excellent narration and soulful music.

Sassy, sassier, sassiest! That Brer Rabbit was the back sassiest critter in 10 counties and it got so Brer Fox just couldn't bear it another second. So he stirred himself up a sticky, gooey Tar Baby and left it on a log for Brer Rabbit to run smack into. Chuckle through all the whimsical fun, as Brer Rabbit finally outsmarts his wily nemesis. This comic American adventure is one of the world's best loved folktales.

“Brer Rabbit and the Wonderful Tar Baby” is another of Danny Glover’s most promising performances as he uses a southern accent to narrate this story. Danny Glover narrates with such coolness that it makes this story worth listening to, especially during the nighttime. Also, Taj Mahal’s music greatly enhances this story as he mainly uses a guitar to create music for the story. I would recommend this audiobook to children of all ages for its effective storytelling from Danny Glover and soulful music from Taj Mahal.

Long ago in Russia, a proclamation went out through all the land that whosoever could build a flying ship would win the hand of the Tsar's daughter. But when a country bumpkin and his oddball crew of extraordinary friends show up to claim her, the dumbfounded Tsar quickly has second thoughts. This hilarious retelling of a fantastical Russian folktale will be a delightful treat for your family.

"The Fool and the Flying Ship" is a wonderful audiobook to listen to! Robin Williams was so hilarious when he narrated this story as he uses Russian accents that were so good that even I was speechless when I listen to this story. Robin Williams adds in over-the-top jokes that makes this story hilarious and creative to listen to. The Klezmer Conservatory Band's music is raucous and creative as it fits the wacky mood of this story perfectly. I would strongly recommend this audiobook to children of all ages for its good humor and hilarious narration done well by the master of comedy himself, Robin Williams.
