I love James Herriot and Christopher Timothy is absolutely the best! I was leary of ordering another because the last one I ordered, All Things Bright and Beautiful was sub standard on recording, but this one was perfect. Very entertaining, a good listen for the entire family. Something for everybody! Love it.

The case: In a historic mansion in New Orleans’ French Quarter, a senator’s wife falls to her death from a balcony. Most think she jumped, distraught over the loss of her young son. Some say she was pushed. And yet others believe she was beckoned by the ghostly spirits that inhabit the house - once the site of a serial killer’s grisly work.

I had this author recommended to me so this is my first book of hers that I have read. I must admit that I was expecting a shallow, typical read of sci-fi. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed her story telling. The ending was not what I expected and I must say that I just enjoyed her book. I will buy more!

I am not sure if I liked the story or not, the narrator kept getting in the way. His sucking his teeth and heavy breathing was very distracting. I kept trying to figure out if his British accent was real or not. I should have listened to it first and I would not have wasted my money.

Some stories become favored childhood classics with good reason, such as the tale of Goldilocks. Here, in an abundantly funny retelling, the time honored drama unfolds. This outrageously frilly, jump-roping Goldilocks skips through the bears' house, reciting saucy rhymes as she goes.

Another outstanding collaboration from Caralyn and Mark Buehner, Goldilocks and the Three Bears is perfect for sharing with children, adults, and fairy-tale collectors alike.

I read previous reviews and saw the comments about sub-standard recording. It was all true! I have read these books and love them. I will not be purchasing the next book of this series because I read in the reviews that the recording was even worse than this one. The narrator was good, but hard to follow at times with the echoing. This one lands in the lap of Audible for not creating a quality product.

I was disappointed with the choice of narrator. It wasn't that he was really bad, just I had listened to the previous books with the same narrator and now had to readjust to a male instead of a female and their interpretations of the characters. Also, I was unable to listen to the 2nd part of the download because it wouldn't play. I had to finish it on my Kindle. I called customer service and they were going to refund me but never did. Oh well, I have a lot of books and this is the first time the problem was not resolved.
