Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I already recommended it to a friend, simply because it is a brillient and amazing story.

What did you like best about this story?

The Truth, that much of it was true life experience.

What three words best describe Sam Tsoutsouvas’s voice?

    Wise Grandfather Teacher

If you could take any character from The Journeys of Socrates out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Sergei Ivanov. A cool and calm, strong and wise martial artist, regardless of his age, I probably would try to seduce him after dinner!

    Any additional comments?

I was so shocked of Dan's revelation at the end. I read his first book, The Peaceful Warrior a long time ago, and just didn't see the connection coming at the end.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, Dan has Universal great insights on life's principels.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Laws of Spirit: Teachings of the Mountain Sage (A Tale of Transformation)?

    Maybe the cat.

What didn’t you like about Dan Millman’s performance?

As much as I love Dan's books, something about his narration bugs me. As if he is talking to children, he reads as if he is reading a children's book, that is the only thing that bothers me.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Absolutely.

    Any additional comments?

I own and read everything that Dan ever put out there, I love his material, his teachings. Just not when he is doing the reading, he should hire a really good reader. His success would simply sky rocket I swear.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who enjoys Drama and Crying.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    Shocked and deeply disappointed.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Allegiant?

    The end.

    Any additional comments?

I know that predictability is not a good thing with books, but please... I feel set up by the author. Great story way from the beginning, it drew me in, I love how detailed she was about the personalities and values of the different fractions... but in my own head I am changing the ending.

His love of his family is his anchor, and gives him the strength to confront evil in his work. One man knows this deeply, and uses Alex's strength as a weapon against him in the most unsettling and unexpected novel of James Patterson's career.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

    YES!! I'd finish it!!!

Would you ever listen to anything by James Patterson again?

When I am ready to forgive him for doing this, maybe.

What about Michael Boatman and Tom Wopat ’s performance did you like?

Nothing wrong with the narration, they are not the problem.

Could you see Cross My Heart being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Never. Sorry James, but you really ticked many of your fans off.

    Any additional comments?

I admit, it was becoming predictable that all is so good at the end, but killing off his family, knowing that they are most likely alive, and you know who did it... still predictable. You just need to wait a year to find out, was this really needed?

In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

Where does World Without End rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best books I have ever read.

What other book might you compare World Without End to and why?

Perhaps to the Outlander series, strong characters, stories within stories, all of them very symbolic.

Have you listened to any of John Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

John Lee cannot do a bad job reading anything, he is just that good.

If you could take any character from World Without End out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Merson, I'd take him out for dinner and then try to seduce him.

    Any additional comments?

I thank God for an author and narrator like these two, the combination is something that you will never forget, it will stay with you forever.

Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

What did you love best about An Echo in the Bone?

Evreything. The story, the many inside stories, the way Diana makes me feel like I am back in the past, and the way Davina Porter tells the story... this book was written to be read by her.

What was one of the most memorable moments of An Echo in the Bone?

The end, knowing that the dog is all good, that always makes me happy.

Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    She is bloody incredible!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Rachel standing up for the dog, she won my heart then and there.

    Any additional comments?

My only dream and hope is that Diana Gabaldon never stops writing about these people, about this family. These series of books are like a drug for me, a drug that puts my mind at ease when I listen to it, having Davina Porter's voice narrating the story in the background makes me feel so comfortable and good like nothing else I know. Once every two years or so I re-listen to the whole thing... it's like taking a wonderful vacation. I'll just need longer and longer time off from work to finish the series!

What did you love best about The Beekeeper's Apprentice?

Both the characters and Jenny Sterlin's voice.

What other book might you compare The Beekeeper's Apprentice to and why?

The Outlander series, it takes me completely away, and the narration is simply amazing.

Have you listened to any of Jenny Sterlin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I am so taken away that because of her voice I will try other authors.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, but there are too many of those parts to mention.

    Any additional comments?

I am in love with these series, and it is both because of the book itself and Jenny Sterlin's voice, the two combined together have created a much beloved art. A very large Thank you to both.

    No

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Tip one is great, but the reader's voice is not for a book like this, it ruined the whole thing for me.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    It ruined the whole experience!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I feel ashamed, but honestly it was anger.

    Any additional comments?

This voice as reader may fit a novel, a long and drawned one, but not a non fiction, business, or anything that ought to be interesting.
