Tip one is great, but the reader's voice is not for a book like this, it ruined the whole thing for me.
It ruined the whole experience!
I feel ashamed, but honestly it was anger.
This voice as reader may fit a novel, a long and drawned one, but not a non fiction, business, or anything that ought to be interesting.
Evreything. The story, the many inside stories, the way Diana makes me feel like I am back in the past, and the way Davina Porter tells the story... this book was written to be read by her.
The end, knowing that the dog is all good, that always makes me happy.
She is bloody incredible!!!
Rachel standing up for the dog, she won my heart then and there.
My only dream and hope is that Diana Gabaldon never stops writing about these people, about this family. These series of books are like a drug for me, a drug that puts my mind at ease when I listen to it, having Davina Porter's voice narrating the story in the background makes me feel so comfortable and good like nothing else I know. Once every two years or so I re-listen to the whole thing... it's like taking a wonderful vacation. I'll just need longer and longer time off from work to finish the series!
Both the characters and Jenny Sterlin's voice.
The Outlander series, it takes me completely away, and the narration is simply amazing.
No, but I am so taken away that because of her voice I will try other authors.
Yes, but there are too many of those parts to mention.
I am in love with these series, and it is both because of the book itself and Jenny Sterlin's voice, the two combined together have created a much beloved art. A very large Thank you to both.
No idea, never read the print version.
The simple explanations.
Probably one moment in each chapter at least.
Thanks to the author for explaining all these complicated topics in such a simple manner.
Touching, Human, Powerful
When PK finishes the Judge off... it's as if everything comes together and makes sense, like it was all worth this moment.
The incredible deep knowledge of the harmoney and balance of nature, the beautiful sustainable way of living in harmony with the world... and there are people out there still looking and doing researches. It is all right in here. Both scientific and spiritual.
The fact that it has the ability of making you fall in love with it, the fact that it is real, and true. That it so simply connects everything that matters in this life.
Cannot pick one moment, it happens all the way through.
I hope at least some intelligent teachers recognize the value of this book and have their students read and talk about it. It would be nice if it would touch more people deep within.
