Indian Hill is about an ordinary boy who grows up in relatively normal times but who finds himself thrust into an extraordinary position. Growing up in suburban Boston, Michael enjoys the trials and tribulations that all adolescents go through, from the seemingly tyrannical mother, to girl problems, to run-ins with the law. From there he escapes to college out in Colorado with his best friend, Paul, where they begin to forge new relationships with those around them. It is one girl in particular that has caught Michael's eye, and he alternately pines for her and laments ever meeting her.

What did you love best about Indian Hill Series #1: Indian Hill?

This is a prelude to the Zombie Fallout Series, and it is nothing short of amazing! The Zombie Fallout series was Horror with comedic relief and Indian Hill adds Sci Fi into the mix!

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Mike Talbot of course

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I can't imagine anyone else doing the reading.

    Any additional comments?

Kudo's to Mark Tufo, can wait to download the rest of the trilogy

It's definitely raw, gritty and no one is innocent that's for sure. For some reason I like these terribly flawed people, but only from afar! If you're prudish, and there's nothing wrong with being prudish, give this series a wide berth!

Sweet, shy Mara Hanover is in love with her neighbor. For four years, she has secretly watched her dream man from afar. Handsome police detective Mitch Lawson is way out of her league. She's a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and there's no way a guy like Mitch would want anything to do with her. So far, Kathie Williams has made a good showing as the only American at a mystery writers' conference in Manchester - what with that falling asleep in public thing behind her. The sight of Iain MacLaren wakes her up. Clad in a deliciously woolly sweater, the burly Scotsman seems to be holding up a wall at the cocktail party. So Kathie makes her move . . . and winds up stark naked with him in bed, where his thick Scottish brogue, thick manly chest, and thick...other parts...drive her to do things she's never done before. Like fall in love.

It's a little dated, but it was a good solid story, I chuckled, groaned at her perceived angst and smiled at their true affection for each other, what more can you ask for in a romance book? Yeah go ahead and use your credit.

One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting. Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I've ever met in my life. He's the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I'm drawn to him as I've never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him. When he's near, I need to remind myself that I am strong - but he is stronger.

This story is well written but the mental illness addressed in this story, is whitewashed way too much and as someone who has dealt with this type of illness, it's no small thing when the one suffering rejects taking medication and I found it hard to get past that! But if you don't have my baggage, you'll probably enjoy this story and I will look for more from this author.

Ok Ok, so it is a rip off of Fifty Shades, but it's a good one, it doesn't take itself to seriously and its laugh out loud funny in places. I didn't have high hopes so I was pleasantly surprised by how well written it was, all the references to pop culture made me laugh and reminded me of the old HBO series Dream On. I will be purchasing the rest of the four part story and hope the quality and the narrator remain the same! Also they didn't make the characters sound too ethnic which I appreciate, I mean come on, educated black women don't sound ghetto.

I'm really conflicted about the audiobook, I like the premise of the story... Well I like the story, it's well written and the dialog was fine. I just had a serious disconnect with the age of the characters in this book. If the characters were 26 and 28 instead of 16 and 18, I probably would have enjoyed the story much more, their young age just kept rolling around in the back of my mind, and I'd find myself cringing at the very adult situations they were put in and no parental supervision what so ever! Jeesh!

Where oh where do I begin? This story reminds me of Accidentally On Purpose, except not as well done, AOP did a good job of making you truly care about the main character, this book not so much, she seemed constantly on the verge of becoming a megalomaniac and seemed to enjoy it. Still it was a good read.
