The return of John and Kate, Scott brings John Corey to life with his humor and wise quips. There is a distinct humor that comes through Nelson's words and Scott's delivery.

You know it is John! To me Kate is the next because she seems to be the calm and thinking part of the team. It was important for her to act just the way she did in their culture knowing to wrap herself but not being happy with it. Perfect portrayal of a western woman in eastern culture.

As I have said before, Scott Brick is the voice of John Corey, you can hear the humor that Nelson is trying to convey with Corey. I like the fact that you always hear about what John thinks about men near his wife. Scott makes it funny when he talks about Brenner dancing with Kate.

Yes you could .... well I could not stop listening to the story. I listen while I work my swing shift, and I was listening to the story for two more hours after midnight..... I was not ready to go to bed till I had to leave the edge of my seat.

Thank you Nelson DeMille, and thank you Scott Brick to me you will be the voice of Corey, no matter what!

I can tell you that I will be listening to this book again gladly in about three months, its that good where I could not get enough of this good stuff.

I prefer Audiobooks when I can get them, because most narrators do different voices.

There were good characters throughout the book, and because of the writing all were equally interesting to me.

I do not know, I expected an actor to read in different voices. All of Will's characters sounded alike, he was just reading the novel, not acting it. I read a review (false as to turns out) that said Will's Captain sounded like a Shatner styled character. I was more than disappointed to find this was not the case. I would have to listen to a sample of another Wheaton performance before purchasing another.

Volunteer for Nothing on the Intrepid!

I was every disappointed in the performance of Will Wheaton, I expected the characters to sound different, he was just reading the book. This made it more difficult to follow because the Author has characters who's names sound alike. When the narrator stated that one person with the D last name, and the other person has a D last name. The way its read it make you wonder just who is speaking in a given section of the story.

Sorry Will, I like most of the other things you do, this was not one of them.

I very much enjoyed the audio version.

The premise that a shock to the brain could unlock hidden talents.

As with most talented actors, you get the impression of the charachers feelings, when the passage is presented in a dramitic fashion.

Oh yes, this was a very good book and if I could have heard it all at once .... but I did listen day after day with enthusiasm.

I think I am ready for the second installment but.... if it is as good as I expect I may wait for the third book and then have a real BRAIN Rush!
