Isabelle Martinez was instantly fascinated by the sexy Coyote Breed she met at the bar, but her sensual flirtation with him was cut short when she saw the man who'd attacked her arrive at the bar. Breed enforcer Malachi Morgan was entranced by Isabelle's mix of shyness and boldness, and he was determined to chase and play with his sensual prey. But he could tell she'd been hurt before by a man, and he vowed that Isabelle was now his to protect and love, even as if it meant going against her family and his orders.

I have not purchased the other Breed books by L Leigh and I doubt I will buy more. I purchased this audio book because it was a shorter book with a good price for when I wanted a quick read. But I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the language. Yes, I know that most of the times this type of book borders on erotica but after hearing the P-word and C-word to describe the female anatomy over and over, I got really sick of it. I don't mind sex scenes if tastefully done, but these were just crude. Heck, I'm not a prude. In fact, I was reading Rosemary Rogers books at 14 yrs old. But over the years I have discovered that less is really better when it comes to descriptive sex scenes.
I thought the plot was a good one and enjoyed the beginning but the book would be much better if about an hour of sex was cut out.
I recommend lots of books and audio books to others, but this will not be one of them.

Nick has his driver's license and he's not afraid to use it. But turning 16 isn't what he thought it would be. While other boys his age are worried about prom dates and applying for college, Nick is neck deep in enemies out to stop him from living another day. No longer sure if he can trust anyone, his only ally seems to be the one person he's been told will ultimately kill him. But life spent serving the undead is anything except ordinary. And those out to get him have summoned an ancient force so powerful even the gods fear it.

Would you consider the audio edition of Inferno to be better than the print version?

While I'm sure the printed version is excellent, the narration of Holter Graham adds to the story. His voices are fantastic and really bring the story to life. He does the female voices so well that I never notice that a male is voicing the parts.

What other book might you compare Inferno to and why?

This book is just a continuation of Infinity, Invincible, and Infamous. Each was better than the previous and Inferno is the best of the four. Nick is maturing but he still has problems with his powers. Being a teenager is difficult enough without the added pressure that he might one day destroy the world.

Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Holter Graham's performances are always flawless. He has narrated many Kenyon books and they are all wonderful.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Like many other listeners/readers, I think the epilogue is a little strange and frustrating. I'm looking forward to seeing how Sherrilyn Kenyon resolves this.

    Any additional comments?

This is a YA book, but I have never felt that Kenyon writes down for her young adult audiences. This book series shows that it isn't necessary to have sex scenes to be an entertaining book. I do think this book should be read after the other three CON books. I believe it would be pretty confusing to jump into this book without first reading the other three.

Molly Harper has done it again! This 4th book in the "Nice Girls" series is just as good as the other three. I was entertained and laughed many times (as I always do with MH books).
I have to admit, I panicked near the end because I thought the series was ending because of some things that happened, but then Molly threw us a curve ball and now there is subject matter for several more books. Whew! That's a relief.
Amanda Ronconi was awesome as the narrator, as always.
I had started and stopped several audio books before NGDBTN because I was bored but I listened to this one every chance I could and was disappointed when it was over. I am ready for #5.

Liked the book but I was a little put off by the preaching of vegetarianism, recycling, etc. It's not that I disagree with the concept, but I don't particularly care for it in my fantasy books. I also found it a little unbelievable that an Immortal would own a Prius. Hot men drive a Jag, Hummer, Mercedes, etc., but not a Prius!
Otherwise, I thought this book, and the first in the series were very good and I plan to buy the third when it is released.

It falls to the Order—a cadre of Breed warriors pledged to protect their own and humankind alike—to stop Dragos, the power-mad vampire at the center of the conflict, before his push for domination can explode into catastrophe.

Those of us who have read or listened to The Breed series have been waiting for Sterling Chase's "happily ever after" for quite awhile. However, this listener thought that this was the conclusion to an awesome series and I didn't want that. But not to worry. Even though this book tied up the loose ends nicely and brought us to a conclusion of sorts, a glance at the author's website shows books #11 and #12 to come so the world is not yet safe. (hooray for that!)
Chase is one of the good guys. He has always had a sense of honor even though he has been through some pretty horrible events. So he was due for some good stuff to happen and in this book, Chase found his perfect mate in Tavia. Tavia is a strong, likable character that is a great heroine, and she goes well with the tortured Chase.
Once again Hillary Huber is the narrator and she does an excellent job with the voices and accents. It is always nice when a great narrator reads the entire series.
Lara Adrian has not been repetitive in the course of 10 books. She came up with a fresh plot for every book. What an imagination she has!
I highly recommend this book, and the entire series. Not only did this series interest me enough to purchase every audio book, it has interested me enough to listen to every audio book again and again.
Buy the book, buy the series. You won't be disappointed. It's 5 stars all the way.

I took a chance on this book because it was inexpensive and was pleasantly surprised.
Alec and Dani have been together in several previous lives, and all had tragic endings. Their present relationship seems to be headed in that direction (but, we all know it's a romance so the ending is happier this time).
I was sure I had the "bad guy" figured out early on, and then discovered I was totally wrong, so there were some surprises.
Overall, it was an enjoyable listen and I had no problems with the narrator.

Encountering a strange creature she knows can't be a local animal, she doesn't need her psychic abilities to figure out the sleepy town is not what it seems. When she meets the intriguing Aiden, she's plunged into a world of Norse gods and fire demons where the Wild Hunt still rides the night.

This book is a little different, with Norse mythology and mythological creatures, healers, witches, shape shifters, and fire demons. I like both the characters of Grace and Aiden.
When I started this audio book, I thought it got off to a good start and the narrator was okay. After a half hour, the book was still good but the narration just got worse. It was more like a boring reading. The. Book. Was. Read. Like.This. It was definitely one of the poorest performances I've heard.
Demon Crossings lost quite a bit of steam in the middle and the narrator made listening painful so I almost quit listening, but I hung in there. I was glad I did. The book picked up at the end and maybe I got used to the narration because it didn't seem so bad, or maybe my ears were numb by this time.
But I did think the story was good. With someone else performing, the overall rating would have been at least 4 stars. Check the sample clip first. You might want to skip the audio book and read the book instead.

I listened to this book on a 950 mile trip and it kept me entertained for 800 miles, until the book finished. I can't say that this was a light-hearted, Happily-Ever-After book because it was more of a real-life story. It addressed some tough subjects, but I thought it was enjoyable, even with my tears.
One More Summer never lost my attention and I never became bored with the characters. Grace was definitely damaged but Ms Flaherty wrote her as a fragile but tough and caring woman. The secondary characters were likable people with very human flaws.
The narrator did a good job and that is always a plus.
I do recommend this book but be sure to have your hankie out and be ready to cry.

I started this book twice. The narrator is a bad choice. Luckily, this was a $2.95 book or I would have felt like I wasted my money. The book was only fair. Considering that the male lead only spoke about 100 words the entire book, it just wasn't that interesting. Then add a narrator that sounds as if she is reading a book word for word, and it was a chore to finish.
Listen to a sample first to see if you can stand the narrator, and if you can, then it might be an okay book for the money.

First Lady was a great listen with some enjoyable twists and turns. I would definitely recommend this book to others.
I believe that Anna Fields was one of the best narrators in the business and the audio book community lost a great performer with her death.
Five stars all the way for this audio book.
