"The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc and me with trespassing, kidnapping, murder and treason. Yeah, we've been busy. But now it's time to take justice into our own hands. We must avenge my brother's death and carve out the rot at the heart of the Council. It's not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have promised to protect my Pride, no matter what...."

Calvin Malone can't seem to stop causing trouble. He now has charged Have, Marc, and Faythe with trespassing, kidnapping, murder, and not to mention treason. Faythe realizes Calvin hasn't gave her much choice so she decides her brothers murder must be avenged. She also has to get Calvin out of the picture. He wouldn't stop until he was dead. Her father was also dead and he expected her to take over the Pride. Now, she sets out to get rid of Malone once and for all and take back her home. These are absolutely wonderful series. I hate that it ended. The narrator did an awesome job. She made the characters leap out. I felt a huge bond to the characters, especially Marc. Rachel Vincent did a brilliant job and it a remarkable and wonderfully written. I would hope Rachel Vincent would write more of the Shifter series. I only wish they had been longer atleast when it comes to audio.

Jonathan Seede is the picture of Washington, DC, respectability, an urban pioneer with a pretty wife, a new baby, and a job at the town’s most esteemed newspaper. But 10 blocks from the White House, on the notorious 14th Street strip, a war is raging over deviant behavior. And Seede is on the front lines, deep into a secret freelance project that’s taking him to places where most people would never dare to go.

I feel as if I write this so much but this is the first time I've listened to anything by this author. I'm not exactly sure what to think about this story. I find that Paul Heitsch did his job and kept me engrossed.

Mike Sager added so many characters to this story, a reporter, a gay activist, law enforcers, teenage runaway, a billionaire, pimps, hookers, drug dealer, and so many more characters. The story was good but I thought it had too many characters.

Jonathon Seede is a respectable man, with a pretty wife, a new baby, and a job at the town's esteemed newspaper company. But a war is raging blocks over from the White House, deviant behavior. Seede finds himself right on the front line by taking on a freelance project and it's taking him to places where most would never dare go.

I've heard that Mike Sager does a perfect job writing non fiction and even winning awards for his stories. This story is just as good as his other non fiction stories. However, I feel Mike lacks in places. Mike does create some humor and the characters are superb. It's one hell of a page turner if you read.

I've listened to Paul Heitsch narration of stories before and I really enjoy his narrating skills. I honestly don't think I would've enjoyed this story as much as I did if not for Paul's narration of the story. Paul does an excellent job with his performance of this story. Every time I listen to something that Paul has narrated he takes my breath away. He does a superb job changing accents. He makes you feel as if you're there watching the story unfold. I really enjoy Paul's narrative skills. I highly recommend that you give this story a chance. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I have.

    Story

Wow, another excellent story by author Jen Minkman! I absolutely loved it from beginning to the very end. This story was different than the other stories that Jen has written. She did a superb job at creating this new story. I find Jen's writing to be a work of art. She continues to blow me away and she surprises me with every new story she writes. I felt as if Jen stepped out of her "comfort zone" but she succeeded at writing a wonderful story that I'll definitely listen to again. I'm not going to give anything away with this one. I will tell you that it's a must read/listen to. This was a really wonderful story and brought together in a perfect package because it has all you want in a story. Jen wrote in supernatural creatures, like skinwalkers and supernatural animals, she also included romance, reincarnation, Indian folklore, and even history.

The narrator Coco Bell did a great job with her performance of this story. It was easy to understand and I was able to distinguish each and every character. I've listened to other stories that Coco has narrated and I can honestly say that her performance improves with every book she narrates. I will be looking for more stories that Coco Bell has narrated.

Jen Minkman as I mentioned above is an exceptional author. I feel as if she can write anything and make it enjoyable. She's an author that everyone should check out and watch for. She's certainly good enough to have a publisher. I highly recommend that you check out all of Jen's stories. I have and I've given them all five star ratings because I feel she's just that damn good, PERIOD.

    Story

This story is filled with everything that you want in a story. However, I did check out some of her books and discovered she wrote a book that goes with this one. But, this story is a standalone and can be read by itself. The name of the other story that goes with this one is called Anessia's Quest incase you might want to read it as well.

I don't want to give too much away about the story so there's no spoilers and it will be a short review. Honestly, there's a lot about God and Christianity in the story that I don't normally care to listen or read about but this was surprisingly good. I was gifted the audiobook so I listened to it and I'm thankful that I received it and I listened to the story. I did listen, I found it to be extremely enjoyable.

Raider takes an older woman named Charley as a hostage after he robbed a bank. He just didn't realize that the woman he takes as a hostage is a Christian and all she does is drive him crazy with all her praying. He's determined to show her that God doesn't exist. Raider believes that if there was a God that he'd never would've gone through the things he has dealt with in his life.

Michael A. Smith does an exceptional job with his narration of the story. I listened to the audio and I didn't have any trouble identifying characters. After Raider takes Charley as a hostage there's not many characters left for Michael to narrate but he still does a superb job with distinguishing the characters voices. I felt the author picked the right person for the story. He really helped me with identifying every character and keeping myself immersed in the story.

I don't think it matters if you enjoy listening to anything with Christianity or not because it's still a fantasy and it's a well written story that pulls you in. For those that love listening or reading stories about faith then you'll love this story.

Like all walking corpses, he discovers that only a stiff drink can soothe his cravings.

    Story

This is a crazy, even absurd take on zombies but it's fascinating. Every zombie book you read or movie you watch make zombies dumb, brain dead, and love to eat the living. This story is nothing like your typical zombie story. When Jones wakes up without a memory of his life, how he died, and even how he's now a zombie he's determined to find answers. Author Stephen Kozeniewski has written a wonderful story that's unique and mesmerizing. I would love to watch this story on the big screen. I do feel it would make a wonderful movie with the authors different take on zombies. It's filled with humor, mystery, and believe it, even a sex scene. It was funny and I often caught myself laughing out loud. There are some gross moments but what zombie story doesn't have them? But, I was happy that the story wasn't filled with gross scenes. These zombies don't really wake up dead, rather they wake as if they're still alive. The author really created a superb story with twists, humor, and intrigue.

I felt narrator Steve Rimpici blew me away. He is a very talented narrator and his performance of Braineater Jones was brilliant. Steve's accents for the characters is perfect. He mesmerized me with his voices of the minion, the Boss, and especially Jones. Even though his performance of the Alcibe was breathtaking his accent on Kumarie simply was brilliant. Steve's voice is amazing and incredibly talented. His range of voices with this story is breathtaking. Any narrator that makes you feel like you're in the story, bond with the characters, and bring those characters to life is extremely talented. Steve Rimpici blew me away and I would love to hear more stories that he narrates and I'm sure that I will.

Author Stephen Kozeniewski didn't go wrong when he chose Steve Rimpici to narrate his story. He made the right decision when he choosing Steve. Both author and narrator did an excellent job. One created a wonderful story the other did a superb job with his performance of this story. I highly, highly recommend this story. I know anyone who gets this story will love it as much as I have. Give it a try and if you don't like it, remember Audible's warranty. What do you have to lose? You can't go wrong with this purchase. I know I loved this story and I hope there will be another story about Braineater Jones.

In the Heart of a Dragon we learned about Donovan DeChance and how's he a collector of ancient books and manuscripts. He's also a practicing mage and a private investigator. When a three hundred year old female vampire is kidnapped Donovan is called in to investigate. Donovan soon believes this is not a simple abduction, it goes much, much deeper than that.

Corey Snow has done another stellar performance with Vintage Soul. He also narrated the first book to the series and he did a wonderful job on that story as well. I think Corey is a very talented narrator. I enjoy a narrator that changes their voice to make each characters identity known. I love being able to listen to a story and being able to recognize each person speaking. Corey does an exceptional job with distinguishing accents. I've listened to other stories that Corey's narrated and I highly recommend that you give one of the stories he narrates a try and David Wilson's The DeChance Chronicles is a great start.

Wow, what can I say about author David Niall Wilson that hasn't been said before? David created another extraordinary story and all the twist leave you guessing throughout. David used a great deal of detail when writing this story. David's writing style is solid and he makes sure to include all the details that are accentual to keeping your interest. I highly recommend The DeChance Chronicles or any of his other stories. I really recommend this series and I bet you'll love it as much as I have and if not remember Audibles return policy.

    Story

This story is about reincarnation. I felt the story too short and if it had been longer it would've made this story incredible. It's about a boy that is called Uruk. Uruk has begged Ari to teach him to be a holy man. Ari refuses to do this. The story starts in 1706 BC. and these individuals continue throughout the story until the year 2091 AD. It really would make for a wonderful lengthier book.

The narrator Steven Jay Cohen did a fantastic job with his narration of this short story. At first I thought it was about a female but as I listened that's when I learned he was Uruk in the story. The boy was the one telling the story and that's why Steven used the accent so much. Steven also did an exceptional job with the other characters accents.

This was my first story I listened to that was written by author JC Andrijeski and the first story I've heard by narrator Steven Cohen as well. The author has written a great story even if it was a short story. It shows imagination and the author and the narrator took me to that time. I felt I was there and going through reincarnation as the story took me there. A wonderful take on Hitler and Churchill as the author tells a tale about an age old feud between two rivals. A short story but definitely worth the listen and I think you'll find this story as enjoyable as I did. I highly recommend this story.

    Story

Brilliant....absolutely. undeniable, extraordinarily brilliant. Okay, yes, I most definitely was blown away. Nancy knocked me right off my feet. I'm surprised that publishers haven't ran Nancy Straight down trying to get her to sign with an agency. Of course, what do I know? Nancy might not want a publisher and I know in ways it's great to have a publisher but in other ways it's not. All I can say for any publisher out there, what in the world are you waiting on? Author Nancy Straight's story is written to pure perfection. This story is unique in so many ways.I never cared for mythology in school so I felt like listening to mythology in a story wouldn't be any better but I was wrong. I do have to give a special thank you to author Eva Pohler because she changed my mind about mythology. Still yet the authors stories are completely different. Nancy has written a story about Centaurs and Centaurides. Mythology doesn't talk much about Centaurs so Nancy picked something wonderful to write about. The story flows smoothly and the story is filled with intrigue. It's unlike anything that I've ever listened to before. There's so much I can say about this story but there's not enough time in the day, seriously there's not. This story draws you in and I know if you give it a chance you'll be drawn in as I am.

Camille Chiron lives a simple and ordinary life but when her mom tells her the name of her dad before she dies Camille's life changes drastically. Camille calls him and he invites her to South Carolina. Before going she has a background check done on him and even tells her best friend Daniel where's she's going. Cami learns that her dad Will has five sons and even a wife. She's extremely happy because they all welcome her and seem to adore her. Will tells Cami why he lost touch with her mom and her. Cami also finds herself shocked because of the things she's told about her family and herself. She learns that she comes from a long line of Centaurs and Centaurides. She was told that Centaurides are females who should also have powers, including reading thoughts of others. Cami seems to find herself being thrown from one thing to another. She learns of this blood debt that is owed because her mom ran away from an arranged marriage and she's now expected to pay this debt to the Kyle Richardson, the man her mom was suppose to marry. Camille also learns that she has more relatives from her mom's side of the family. Her mom never spoke of a grandmother. Things become more complicated and her future at risk and even her life is at risk.

Narrator Terri Schnaubelt does an amazing job. She brings the story to life as if you're there. Terri did an excellent job distinguishing the characters accents. Her performance was absolutely brilliant. I've listened to Terri narrate other stories and every time I listen to her it's like being at a play and I close my eyes and it's as if I'm watching a play. I mention this when a narrator knocks me off my feet and Terri happens to one of those narrators. She's a very talented woman and it shows in her narration of this story.

This story is extraordinary and unique. I found it touching and heart rendering. Author Nancy Straight has written a story that I will re-listen to for years to come. In all honesty this story is remarkable and once I finish all the Touched series, I will then start listening to the Destiny books written by Nancy. I hope the Destiny series will be as enjoyable as the Touched series. This was a wonderful combination written and narrated by two very talented women. I loved the storyline and the character development. I think Drake is by far my favorite character in this story. I highly recommend this story, especially in audio format. You'll be happy if you get this story and once you listen to Blood Debt you will find yourself immersed in the other Touched books. If by chance you can't get into the story, which is unlikely, remember Audible's return policy. I can pretty much guarantee you'll love this story and you won't be returning it, rather you'll get the rest of the series that's available on Audible.

Kendra Larkin is somewhat of a daredevil from what I gathered from the story. She's athletic, adventurous, and she's always eager to try new things. But, as she goes out on one of these adventures with friends, Kendra ends up in the hospital fighting for her life. Even though she's in a hospital being operated on she can hear everything and finds herself drawn to this one voice, her doctor Adam Chamberlain. She also finds out that she has a guardian angel and if she wants to live then she must agree to help save the soul of the man who happens to be the doctor who operated. Kendra agrees to do this and she's been guaranted less than a week to get this man to believe in God again or she'll die, die for good this time. Things aren't so easy and Kendra finds herself in the hospital a few times too many and everyone begins to think she's suicidal. Kendra is in the fight of her life trying to get Adam to have faith in God again. With everything stacked against her, will Kendra live or will she die?

Author Kristie (K.S.) Haigwood blew me away. I loved how the story was about faith, good vs evil, yet Kristie took this story where some authors wouldn't. I was amazed that Kristie wrote a story with religion along with explicit sex details. Most authors wouldn't dare mix the two. She has my attention and I applaud her for taking this story in the direction she wanted it to go despite what people might think or say. This is what writing a great story is all about. This is what makes a terrific author, a best selling author. I can see author Kristie Haigwood going places and finding a publisher if she wants one. I am a fan now after listening to this story. Kristie has written a brilliant story, written to perfection.

The narrator Erin Mallon made this story great to listen to. I was able to connect to the characters and she did an excellent job with distinguishing the characters. This story had quite alot of voices in this story. Erin had to give each character a voice to make that character unique, especially with Kendra's many voices. No, I don't mean possession of any kind it's an inner voice, an outer voice, and so forth. Erin was able to do all these voices with no trouble at all. She amazed me with her performance throughout the entire story. She hooked me from the start and kept me glued to the story from beginning to end. Her voice was made for this story. Erin's narrating skills brought this story to life and I highly recommend this story. I personally think it's a 5 star rating and if you don't believe me then find out for yourself. Really, what do you have to lose? You can't go wrong with Audibles warranty.

It had me guessing till the very end. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire audio. I couldn't have stopped the story if I wanted to.

This wasn't the first audiobook I've listened to by narrator Paul Heitsch but I think this might be his newest story to date. I have noticed that he has improved a great deal since The Gates of Eden. His narrating skills improve with every audio he does. He does an exceptional job and his performance seem to get more enjoyable. His performance of Frank is superb, simply flawless. I think the author picked an amazing narrator when he chose Paul. I love when a narrator can connect me to the characters. Paul does an excellent job with distinguishing the characters and their accents. He brought the story to life and I find that unique for any narrator to be able to do.

    Story

You might not believe it but this story is old, like really old. It's well over a hundred years old. Author Myrtle Reed decided to bring the book back to life by adding a different spin to this story. This might very well be the oldest book I've ever bothered with. I typically like the newer age stories. I have never even heard of this author until I listened to this story. This was my first introduction into the mind of Myrtle Reed. I did find the story enjoyable even if it's an old one.

A woman returns to this old cottage that's been abandoned for over 25 years now and it's falling apart. This woman returns, who is wearing a veil to cover her face. She wears this veil for a reason. Evelina Gray, a lady in her forties has returned back to this old cottage. Her mom has died and she's broke. She doesn't have anything left, anything left to live for, and all she wants is to be left alone. Evelina has suffered, not only to her body but to her heart as well and she's never recovered from what happened to her over 25 years ago. Can Evelina Gray ever be happy again? Will Evelina ever get justice from the person her hurt her? I must say that I enjoyed the story immensely. It is a wonderful story where anything is possible. Even though this isn't my normal genre I enjoyed it all the same.

I thought the narrator, Linda Velwest did a wonderful job with her narration of this story.
Linda brought the characters to life and she did an exceptional job with distinguishing the voices. I think my favorite character on the story would be the Piper and Linda did a stellar performance with her take on all these characters. I think and feel like Linda puts her on twist and take on the story as she creates the voices that each character has. This is the second story I've listened to by Linda. I think the first story Foverland is Dead by Tony Bertauski might very well be the newest story she's done but I can't be for sure. I know her performance on that story is amazing. Don't get me wrong because I think the same about her narration of this story to. I think it could be the oldest book she might have narrated but who knows. I do know she's an amazing narrator and I highly recommend other work by Linda Velwest.
