"The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc and me with trespassing, kidnapping, murder and treason. Yeah, we've been busy. But now it's time to take justice into our own hands. It's not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have promised to protect my Pride, no matter what...."

Calvin Malone can't seem to stop causing trouble. He now has charged Have, Marc, and Faythe with trespassing, kidnapping, murder, and not to mention treason. Faythe realizes Calvin hasn't gave her much choice so she decides her brothers murder must be avenged. She also has to get Calvin out of the picture. He wouldn't stop until he was dead. Her father was also dead and he expected her to take over the Pride. Now, she sets out to get rid of Malone once and for all and take back her home. These are absolutely wonderful series. I hate that it ended. The narrator did an awesome job. She made the characters leap out. I felt a huge bond to the characters, especially Marc. Rachel Vincent did a brilliant job and it a remarkable and wonderfully written. I would hope Rachel Vincent would write more of the Shifter series. I only wish they had been longer atleast when it comes to audio.

I read Blood of Eden first and then when this audio was available I got it and I realized I made a HUGE mistake. This audio sets you up for the first book in the series. When I listened to Dawn of Eden it was good but I wish I had listened to this first. I was confused quite a bit. The story was good so there wasn't any problems there. I think and this is my opinion that if you have read Blood of Eden then don't bother with this audio unless you want to know what happened to get things the way they are in Blood of Eden. Its a must read/listen to before reading the first book in the series. The story was well written and it lets the reader know how things happened to get you ready for the first book.

Three angels - Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, the youngest and most human - are sent by Heaven to bring good to a world falling under the influence of darkness. They work hard to conceal their luminous glow, superhuman powers, and, most dangerous of all, their wings, all the while avoiding all human attachments. Then Bethany meets Xavier Woods, and neither of them is able to resist the attraction between them.

    Story

I had heard some bad reviews on this book but I had to find out for myself. I loved the story. It was wonderful to listen to. The narrator did an excellent job and she had such a delightful, easy to listen to voice. The story was more for the teenage genre, yet its still an audio book for any age.I found I couldn't stop listening and I had to find out what would happen next. The story takes three angels from there home in heaven to the mortal world of earth. The angels entire lives had to change by going to school, work, and everything that humans had to do. Danger lurks and it takes some time before it shows and the angels must yield from danger or face it head on. Meanwhile Bethany, the youngest angel finds love with Xavier and struggles without her feelings and mortality, thinking of becoming mortal because she never wants to be taken away from Xavier. Will their love endanger them all or will it save them all? I loved the book. I thought it was another different take on books written by about angels. If you love books with angels then I highly recommend this audio book.

In the murky shadows of an alley lies a female’s severed hand. On the tenement rooftop above is the corpse belonging to that hand, a red-haired woman dressed all in black, the body nearly decapitated. Two strands of silver hair — not human — cling to her body. They are Rizzoli’s only clues, but they’re enough for her and medical examiner Maura Isles to make a startling discovery: This violent death had a chilling prequel.

Ok I have to be honest so I am. I couldn't finish the audio. I found it boring and I couldn't stay on track. It could be just me but it sure wasn't what I normally listen to. I don't mind books like those. Patricia Cornwall used to be my favorite author. I still read her books but I think I have outgrown the murder, mystery thrillers. I only got the audio because it was on sale. Sorry, but I could only give it one star.

She is now a enforcer, wich means she fights, guards, and protects the Pride. Soon word gets back to the Pride that male werecats are being murdered. Faythe's dad is Alpha of his Pride. Faythe wants very much to prove to her father. Her father expects her to take his spot as Alpha one day. He expects her to learn the ways of being in charge. Faythe and Marc leave to kind who is killing the toms. The story keeps getting better. I have started to boñd with the characters. Faythe is so rebellious. She says what she wants and does what she wants wich fihnds her in trouble a lot.

    Story

Stray is the first story in the series Shifters. It is a wonderful listen and the narrator does a great job with her voice and character changes. Mostly, the series is for the teenage genre, yet still a great listen, for the older generation, nevertheless. Faythe Sanders always seems to find trouble. She's a werecat tabby shapeshifter. She does what she wants and has for a long time. Faythe is made to return back home from college after an attack from a stray on her. The real reason is for her safety. Tabbies wich are female werecats began disappearing. In her society males come plentiful where female tabby cats are few. The society is extremely protective over the tabby cats. Faythe isn't like other tabby's. She hates being told what to do and all she wants to do is return back to college and the life she has made for herself. Faythe soon discovers trouble. She might not be afraid to fight but its hard to fight when your unconscious. She wakes to realize she had been kidnapped and in a cage. I loved the first installment of Shifters. Its a must read but an even better listen. I loved the story from beginning to end.
