I wouldn't say that this audio book is better than print version, there are annoying chimes that seem to break up the book as you listen, this is something I'd like to see removed.

This book was unlike anything I've read, and was a truly unique an amazing story.

Yes, this book was awesome, and on more than one occasion I found myself continuing to listen even after I'd gotten home.

I can't wait to read the next book in this series, it was an amazing story, although the performance was slightly lackluster.

Fun, Exciting, Thoughtful

Sider Ament, the internal torture is visible, you can see what happens when one is forced to pick between duty and love, and the regret that follows ever after. He was a well developed, well thought out character.

When we realized that Aislinne Kray is the woman that Sider Ament was forced to give up in order to take his charge as the bearer of the black staff, you can feel the regret, and the fact that he almost wishes he could go back and change his choice.

This was a great book, I picked it up essentially at random from a brief review, and was not disappointed.

When I bought this book, I promised myself I would get through it, and for the first 10 hours of listening...I was regretting my decision. This book starts slow, like painfully slow, it seems that the author is disconnected from his audience, and doesn't seem to care. I've read other Dostoevsky, and I have to admit, this was my least favorite.

I wouldn't say that The Brother's Karamazov turned me off from other books in the genre, but it did help to turn me away from the author.

Frederick was incredibly expressive, he put in proper emotion where it was called for, it was a good performance.

This was my least favorite Fyodor Dostoevsky novel, if you're looking for something of his to read...skip this one, it was a pretty lackluster experience.

Eragon was a great story delivered by an awesome narrator. This audiobook was NOTHING like the awful movie.

I like that this story was an incredibly detailed world, one that immediately dragged me in, causing me to burn through this book, and the rest in the series, often finding myself listening for several hours once I had gotten home.

Gerad Doyle took a kickass story, and made it even better, he provided a wonderful experience that wouldn't have been received had I read the book.

It wasn't a single moment, rather it was the steady building of the relationship between Eragon and Saphira.

Great book, totally unlike the debacle that was the movie. I wish they would actually turn this story into a movie, and far more closely follow the books.

This was a good book, made better by an awesome performance by Kate Reading. I would definitely read another book by Jim Butcher, and will be listening to another book read by Kate Reading.

This story was good, and the many characters seemed normal, unlike many godlike characters in other fantasy novels.

I think that my favorite character was Amara, her strengths tempered by humanizing weaknesses.

Furies of Calderon was worth the listening time, it took a little while to get myself into the world of Alera, but once I had become invested in it, I found that I reveled in my listening experience. If only those stupid trumpets would go away, they added weird breaks to the story that felt quite unnatural.

Please for the love of god, when Audible turns Audio CD's into an Audible book, get rid of those stupid markers between CD's, those trumpets damaged the listening experience for me.
