What about Elisa Donovan’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed her flow and how clear she spoke. I felt like she really knew and connected to the book/subject so she was able to provide good inflections and stress on certain parts.

During his years in a neural-health facility, Pat Peoples has formulated a theory about silver linings. He believes that his life is a movie produced by God, that his mission is to become physically fit and emotionally supportive, and that if he succeeds, his happy ending will be the return of his estranged wife, Nikki. When Pat goes to live with his parents, everything seems changed: no one will talk to him about Nikki, and his new therapist seems to be recommending adultery as a form of therapy.

I found interesting the perspective that the author gave of Pat Peoples. The story allowed me to understand Pat and gave detailed description of the characters involved in Pat's life.

Overall, I enjoyed listening to the book. I did not see the movie and would be interested in seeing how close it is to the book.
