I wouldn't say this was the best of the books I have listened to, but it was a fun read. I would recommend it to friends.
I can't remember her name but I liked Stacy's cousin that owned the bar. She wasn't a huge character but I liked her sassiness. Plus, I loved the aunts and grandmother.
It took me a while to like her performance. I thought she sounded bored reading it.
At first I thought I would just skip the book and try listening to it later, but it continued to keep my interest. I found myself looking forward to seeing what happens next. Was surprised that I actually enjoyed it :)
I might continue on with this series. It did leave me wondering what will happen in the next book ;)
Yes! I like books by Debbie Macomber. I enjoy the characters in her books.
Other series that Debbie Macomber has written.
Not any in particular :)
Maybe when the mother was telling her daughter about her past...
If you love any mystery books you might enjoy this. There was some quirkiness in this book but it was a fun read.
Maybe books by Maggie Sefton??
I liked the speed she read the book and her take on the characters were interesting. I thought she did a good job.
Probably the ending. It was a mystery and I thought for sure I had figured it out...WRONG!
Looking forward to hearing the next books in this series
I would listen to Her Royal Spyness again because I found it very entertaining and funny. I would probably hear new things I missed the first time. Plus, in my opinion, it would be a book listening to again.
I thought the funny parts were Georgie's clumsiness and her lack of ability to clean and care for her needs.
At the beginning of the book I was beginning to wonder if I was going to enjoy listening to Katherine Kellgren's narration, but the more I listened the better I enjoyed her. I can't think of anyone better that could do the book justice. I would look for other books by her.
This book made me laugh! I also found myself telling my husband bits of it, which I never do.
I loved the characters and how the narrator portrayed them. I loved Belinda and Georgie's grandpa. I have just bought the rest of the books in the series.
Beautiful, sad, and hilarious!
I like that Dolores finds happiness at the end. I read the book when it came out and remember loving it. Of course, I still feel the same after listening to it.
Obviously Dolores Price...she remains strong
This book did make me cry, especially at the end.
Love anything that Wally Lamb writes...he's amazing!
I recommended this book to my teenager. I was expecting more from the plot but it was a simple book with interesting characters. I thought Jenna Lamia did a fine job.
Probably not. I thought it was an easy read but more towards the younger adults.
I have not listened to any more of Jenna Lamia's other performances. i thought she did a wonderful job.
I think you could...it was just easy to get into and each chapter had something different in it.
Three words to describe this book....uplifting, frustrating (at times), sad. This was a good book...I like any of Francine Rivers books that I have read and this one is another one that I enjoyed
I couldn't believe how much patience Hosea had...more than I would.
I liked Kate Forbes but I thought her men's voices sounded so unemotional. All in all she did a good job.
This book actually made me cry, but all of Francine Rivers books make me cry!
I was a little hesitant about starting this book because I really liked A Kite Runner. This book is just a good as that one. It opens your eyes to the hardships of women in Afghanistan.
I liked most of everything in this book. There are more memorable moments than others.
I have not listened to any other performances by Atossa Leoni. I would listen to her again.
I would take Laila. I thought she was sweet, strong, and wise.
A must read and I really enjoyed Atossa Leoni and how she portrayed each character.
I would recommend this book. If you like Debbie Macomber I'm sure you will enjoy this book also. It is the first in a series and it is the only one I have read. It makes me want to continue on with the series.
I enjoyed all the characters in the book. Debbie Macomber rights fiction that you can find at least one character that you relate to or just fall in love with.
I thought Sandra Burr read the book well. I would consider looking for more books that she has read.
The only moment in the book that suprised me was the ending that left me needing to continue reading more of this series. Thankfully it was a good book and I will read the next ones.
