Marc Thompson I love the way he reads the book and how he brings the characters to life. I like the audible books because you get a feel of the action and he seems you are part of the story and you are more aware of the story.
All the old characters was back together and I was glad to see new characters. The story was good and I was kind of glad they was fighting a new foe instead of the just the Sith.
The Sith was present and this will strengthen the story and I hope it will lead to another story. Han, Leia, and Luke are older and the children are older also I think this is how the saga shall proceed.
Action and excitement he makes you see and feel the story. The special FX are also good they help you experience the story better.
I laugh at some of the scenes and I cried when I thought that Luke or Leia may not have made it. I felt sorry for some of the other characters too.
The story was good but they were a little off about Mortis and I think that could have been done a little better. But since I have been following Star Wars so long and I have seen the Clone Wars series it explain it better in one of their episode and the Dawn of the Jedi series by Dark Horse comics explains it better and you can just start putting all the pieces together. But I really enjoyed the book and I was glad that it was set after The Fate of the Jedi I hope that will be more stories In the future to build on the younger characters and other Jedi working together to make the Jedi more stronger.
Marc Thompson I love listening to his voice and he brings the characters to life. I have read it once but I have listen to it twice and will listen to it again.
When Mara Jade and Vader had words at the end of the story and I think her next mission is the "Choices of One" with the same characters in that story. I hope they will put the "Choices of One" on audio and I have read that book also.
Mara Jade and Han Solo.
When Han felt that Leia may really care for him aboard the falcon after her rescue.
The book is exciting and I enjoyed reading the book but listenings to it is so much awesome than just reading it. I read it so I can get the characters names in my head and I like to see their names in print before i listening to the book.
I liked the flashs backs when she was training as a Je'daii with her brother and the story was pretty good. The story is good and Lanoree was conflicted for the love of her brother and what he has become. Keep in mind this is the beginning of the Je'dii era and you have to crawl before you can walk.
Lanoree she is a strong person in statue and personality and I like Tre also.
I felt she did an excellent job with the main character and it is good to have a female voice if your main character is female. The word Je'daii will sound different than the word we have grown so familiar with Jedi. I would buy another book performed by January Lavoy she is good and with time she can get better.
I cried a little because of the way she felt about her brother and she could not believe what he had become now to the every end.
I think readers should give this series a chance this is the beginning of a new era. Their era is a lot different from the one we have become use to. There is a part in the book where Lanoree have a dream of a weapon made with a blade of light. In my opinion the author started the book out correctly and should develope it into the Jedi we know today. I also have the Kindle version and read it first before I listen to the book because the characters are new and I want to see their name written so I would know the character I was listening to. Also in the Kindle version there is a short story with Lanoree in it that is good.
