Not my favorite - the reader was excellent but the story tended to drag on.
Wish I had something good to say but this one was a real dud - from the poor narration to the story line. I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie but that is just not happening. Had a hard time getting through the chapters but kept hoping it would get better.
Book 2 down - now I want the next one. Very enjoyable read.Great narration.
I was disappointed in this book - both the story and the narration. Managed to get through to the end but don't think I will buy another from this author.
I was so disappointed with this book I should have returned it after the first few chapters. Overall the storyline started out OK but just did not get any better. The narrator never changed her tone, droned on and on, and put me to sleep. Would not recommend this at all!
I loved the narrator who brought the story to life!. The storyline was great and as I am following along with the TV series I was amazed at how close it was to the book (at least so far). Would recommend to anyone who loves "merry old England"!
I love anything by this author! She really brings the characters to life. Great narration by Bianca Amato as well.
I love to read anything involving this time period. It was an easy read and most enjoyable.
Not quite as interesting as book 1 but I still could not put it down. Looking forward to book 3.
George Martin is one of my all time favorite writers with this ongoing story spellbinding. Cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of them.
Enjoyed this very much as I love reading anything to do with English/Tudor type books.
