This book was very similar to its predecessors and therefore well worth the time and money. The newness of the premise and characters is beginning to wear off, now, though. Still a good read.

The characters did not grab me...I didn't feel for them in my gut...you know what I mean. The great books do this, and therefore I can only say this was good, not great.

What can I say? Suarez is a visionary. I was disappointed initially in the abrupt ending of the first book...really quite jarring, but Suarez redeemed himself with a magnificent conclusion. This book is so close to the potential reality of the near future...it really makes you think. Enjoy!
