"Another great book in a good series"
Not your Typical Zombie Book. Nice plot with lots of great and entertaining characters. The whole series is great
"Another great one"
So far i am flying through this series, I just can't put it down. This book was just as good for me as the first one, maybe just a little less - but darn close. Lots of action and creativity. Great listen :)
"Great start to a very promising series"
Great book!! Plenty of action and lots of creative concepts to make you smile. I really enjoyed this book.
"Awesome Book"
This is one of my favorite books ever! Great story and great action! Highly recommend
"Great final book to a great series"
I wish the narrators were the same in this book as the last two, but it is still a great listen. Not your Typical Zombie Book. Nice plot with lots of great and entertaining characters. The whole series is great
"Solid book, Not your Typical Zombie Book"
Solid book, Not your Typical Zombie Book. Nice plot with lots of great and entertaining characters. The whole series is great
"Good Stuff"
I am not a king fan, but this one was very well written. Lots of drama, suspense, and action. Great book!!!!
"Really good"
Brought the story to life. Well told! I really enjoyed this book. But the narrator was just too slow and a little too dramatic. So I listened to it at 1.5X speed - problem solved.
"On no! Not another pre/teen novel..."
Very shallow characters behaving in cliché and predictable ways. If you are a teen or late pre-teen this is a good read. If you liked the twilight books and the "romance" in them, then you would probably like this book. It was not my thing though
"Fiction pretending to be history"
I like many of Card's books, but this one just didn't work for me. It is historical fiction - kind of. That is the biggest problem I have with it: It is a series of hypotheses based on the extrapolation of sketchy historical documents at the time of Card's writing of this novel. Since Card wrote this book, most of his major plot twists and events have now been shot down and are "very improbable" or just flat out wrong. It was a nice try (and maybe plausible) at the time of his writing of this novel based on the facts that were known at the time, but now it is almost laughable. If you do read this book, do yourself a favor and google - particularity search for "fair lds wiki" and you will see what I am talking about...
