"Pretty Good"
This book is pretty good and, in my opinion, is made great by Sean Stephenson's narration. It's the kind of audio book that just wouldn't be the same if somebody else was narrating it. Sean does a great great great job.
"Garth Sounds Like a Really Nice Guy But..."
Garth Sounds Like a Really Nice Guy But...I just couldn't get into this book.
To me, it was just a little too cutesy (is that a word?) - Garth's chuckles at his own humorous observations just kind of drove me crazy - I couldn't get through this audiobook.
However, it's very well researched and if you can get around the pet peeve I experienced, you'll like it.
"Took The Long Way Home To Listen Longer"
Even better than his last book - best part is Shatner's narration. I devoured listening to this book - couldn't stop. Took the long way home just so I could listen longer. Amazing awesome book - Shatner is the man.
"Wow - this book was WAY better than I expected."
I'd never heard of Jim Kukral, and actually purchased his book in a rush because I wanted something to listen to just before I needed to jet out the door. But wow - this thing knocked my socks off. I consider myself somebody who knows a lot about the web - but this is a totally new perspective. The narrator did an EXCELLENT job here too. Really well done!!!!!!
"Terrific!"
I listened to this after listening to "Made to Stick." I liked "Switch" as much or more...these brothers do a great job of presenting practical interesting ideas in an easy to absorb way.
"Excellent"
This was a surprisingly great book...I really enjoyed it and got a lot of new ideas from it. Very practical stuff. Liked it so well I listened to Drive by the same authors immediately after.
"Couldn't get through it"
I try to have respect for all books - and maybe it was just me - but I couldn't make it all the way through this one. I think some of it had to do with the narration - but it just stalled out for me. Seemed to be a lot of repetition...
"Talent is Overrated, but this book isn't"
I'm really glad I picked this book to listen too. It has lots of information that was new - the author did an excellent job of incorporating stories to make his points. It was a pleasure to listen to this book.
"Definitely worth a listen"
This book surprised me - was more interesting than I thought it would be. Liked what they had to say about the pitfalls of planning too much. Narration was excellent.
"Really excellent"
I knew a little about Zappos and a little about Tony Hsieh before listening to this one - but I know a lot more after...and found all the information here really interesting. It is no surprise to me that Tony Hsieh has met with so much success - he's a really dynamic smart guy and it was a pleasure to hear him narrate this excellent book he's written.
