This is one of the most entertaining new series I have read in a while. I was hooked after the first page. In a small town in Wisconsin, Caron Egan, Patricia Harper, and Maggie Thorsen open up a gourmet coffee shop, UNCOMMON GROUNDS. On the day they open for business, Patricia dies in what seems like an electrocution accident. But the sheriff sees things differently. Sheriff Pavlik thinks someone tampered with the latte maker to intentionally kill Patricia. He begins to look at the business partners first.
The characters are realistic, likeable, interesting and well-developed. There are many plot twist to keep you guessing. Other than Maggie my favorite character is Sarah. Her blunt sarcastic comments are funny and keep the story rolling at a fast pace.
I wish the entire 7 book series was available through audiobooks. I bought the rest of the series for my Kindle. If you are a fan of light mysteries you will love this book.
This is a great addition to the series. As always, Lily prevails even through adversirty. In this case, the adversity comes from her family. I'm glad she returns to Shakespeare
This is a strong follow up to the first book in the series. I hope there will be more to come in the future.
This an excellent new book with a very good plot and characters. I look forward to the next in the series.
This is an entertaining series and a great book. In this book, there are lots of secrets, mysteries, murder. Lorna Barrett has left some interesting tidbits of what may be to come for Tricia and Angelica. I can't wait until the next book.
I have been hooked on this series since the first book. I love the characters and the flow of the story. My only complaint is that I have to wait to far in between for the next book.
The latest addition in this series is funny, light and very enjoyable. The plot was well developed and the characters intersting and amusing. This is truly a good book.
This is a another good addition to the Agatha series. Once again Agatha is brilliant and entertaining.
I enjoyed this book, just as I have enjoyed all of the Aurora Teagarden series. The writing was engaging and entertaining. However, I felt that the ending was a bit far fetched. It's a good read and I reccomend it to everyone who likes cozy mysteries.
This is the best in the series. Agatha comes into her own as a professional detective. Charles and Mrs. Bloxby are there along with a few other characters that add to the delight of this book. This is a must read for fans of Agatha.
I'm not sure if I will read the next book. This one was okay, too much of the story is spent inside Joanne's head: in trances, flashbacks, or her thoughts and regrets. There is a little character development in the characters but not enough to keep me interested.
