I bought this book because I knew that it would tell of Cormac's time in jail and tell the story of TJ. I enjoyed the stories about Cormac history the most. TJ's story was also excellent. There were three stories that featured Kitty. Only the one in which she was helping a fellow werewolf was actually good. The other stories seemed out of place. As always Marguerite Gavin was great.
I truly enjoyed this story. I listened to it after I listened to the first book in the Kate Shugak series. I loved the well developed characters and plot. The story started out fast and kept that pace throughout the book. I was happy that I was able to take this book everywhere. I bought the next book before I finished the first.
Marguerite Gavin does a great job bring Kate Shugak to like. Kate is a realistic and sympathetic character that I enjoyed reading about. The plot was strong and well developed as was the other characters. There was enough twist and turns to keep you guessing through out the book. I ususally read light and cozy mysteries and this was a bit darker. I spent an entire day listening to it. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries.
In a word this story is boring. I couldn't get past the first four chapters.
This is a good book. Candace is in a jam and Abbey is her only hope. The plot was a bit far fetched and there were many twists and turns. However, the book was pleasant enough and enjoyable.
Unlike most lead characters in cozy mysteries, Meg does not invite herself into murder investigations. She is intelligent and likable and is trying to do her job when someone pulls her into their situation. That makes her different. The investigation that follows is interesting. This isn't a fast paced page turner but it is an enjoyable book.
I read the first book in this series and found it annoying, but at least I finished it. This one was worse. The plot is unrealistic- step son from previous marriage runs away because his parents are thinking about getting together and gets involved in murder plot. The story made no sense. It was also very boring. Not could I not get into the story but I didn't find any of the characters interested. I finally gave up halfway through it. I will not buy a book by this author again.
This was bad writing in so many ways. I couldn't figure out if it was a romance novel or a treasure hunt. I do know it was not a cozy mystery like Diana Killian's other books. I will nt be reading anymore in this series.
This is one of the best books I have listened to in a while. The characters are interesting and realistic. The plot flows along at a pace that keeps you turning pages. I really enjoyed this book. I will caustion you that you are only getting one book, Corspe Pose. I do hope Audible make the other books available soon. I would love to listen to them as well.
This was a quick read. Meg keeps getting pulled in to a mystery at another museum while trying to run her own museum. The plot and characters are realistic. The pacing of the story was quick and kept me interested. It was a good book.
This book is different from the others in the series. There is no murder but Meg does set out to solve a mystery. She also makes some unbelievable odd choices based on the weather and everyone went along like it was normal. All in all it was an okay book. I will probably read the next one in the series. I am very disappointed that the recipes are not included in the version offered by audible.
