What if the Shadow that destroyed Atlantis 10,000 years ago, comes back to threaten our present world? A war beyond time. An enemy beyond space. A thriller beyond your wildest dreams. Three areas on the Earth's surface defy explanation: the Bermuda Triangle, the Devil's Sea of Japan, and a small region of Cambodia. Inside these realms, planes have disappeared, ships have vanished, and, in Cambodia, an entire civilization has been lost leaving behind Angkor Wat....

Would you try another book from Bob Mayer and Robert Doherty and/or Martin Gollery?

Martin Gollery should NEVER narrate, ever. How the heck did the robot voice from the answering machines from the '90 get the longest book in the series?

Would you be willing to try another book from Bob Mayer and Robert Doherty ? Why or why not?

I like the story line, I really do. I don't like Mayer's tendency to explain away God and religion. I would say this is the most frustrating thing about all his stories. That being said, it is otherwise a good story. So, yes.

What didn’t you like about Martin Gollery’s performance?

All of it. He is a terrible narrator, the worst I have ever heard.

But when his lover, scientist Lisa Duncan, falls into evil hands, Mike must decide which prize means the most to him - the woman he loves or the legendary Grail.

What did you like best about The Grail? What did you like least?

Its a good story. Through out the series Bob Mayer makes several technical mistakes, ie. F-16's cant take off from an aircraft carrier, the Pave Low is an MH-53, not an HH-53, there were many others, you would think a guy who used to be a green beret would know these kind of things. However this is something I can live with, its still a good story. I don't like how the author seems to minimize religion.

Those are only the MINOR issues over come by a good story line. You remember the robot voice from the '90's answering machine, I would rather have that thing read the book. This guy has to be the worst narrator EVER!!

What did you love best about Wards of Faerie?

Terry Brooks is an amazing author. The Shanara series is one of my favorites, I'm glad he is continuing it. This is a story i have wanted him to write for a ling time.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Rosalyn Landor?

Rosalyn is not a very good narration. Her voice is high pitched and annoying. i almost stopped listening and ordered the Kindle version. I hope the next book some one like Dick Hill or Scott Brick or Kate Reading is chosen.

This book wasn???t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    gay and lesbian

Would you ever listen to anything by Trudi Canavan again?

i dont know it i will listen to her again, especially if she is going to pack her books with gay and lesbian rights instead of fantasy story line.

You didn???t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

all the redeeming qualities of the first trilogy (action and actual magic use) were not present in this one. i cant express how disapointed i am in this trilogy.

    Any additional comments?

the first trilogy had a tolerable amount of the gay right plugs in it. but this series is chuncked full of the "go homo!!!" theme. its not a story of fantasy with magic around every corner, its a story of a political statement with gays and lesbians around every corner and hederosexuality is an after thought.
