Fun, romantic and constant. Never a dull moment.
I'm constantly amazed at how Eloisa James can write a story so vivid that I can't put it down.
I can't believe how these books are out of order. Days of gold #1 . Scent of Jasmine #2. I don't know where the 5th one falls I'm reading that now. I loved this book and the narrator was much better then Lavender morning and Scarlet nights . I wish the order was right and a good narrator read them all but this is a very good series and I recommend them highly.
It was a good romance with some action but for me, I think storm was to compliant
Action, Adventure, Intrigue plus weaving the past with the present. What more could you want. The only problem was the narrator's attempt at imitating male voices, she did a good job except for that.
These books were out of order and unfortunately have different narrator's. The narrator to this book has the same voice for all the characters, I had to back up a lot because I didn't know who was talking. The narrator can't hold a candle to Davina Porter. To bad she didn't read this one. I hope book 3 has some of the same characters, but from the description it doesn't. It has another narrator change, hope she is better. The best part was the ending, a real tear jerker.
Was a good book. it had mystery, love and drama. the narrator was excellent and the story. moved along quickly.
loved it. I especially liked the time travel. This book was fascinating, gripping and entertaining. I couldn't put it down, my ears need a rest from the ear phones. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
This was better than the last few in the series. There wasn't to much time spent on agonizing over whether or not to admit or say I LOVE YOU. Thank God!!!!!!!! Good story, good action and good narration.
This book follows the twilight series to close to be a coincidence. Since I watched the TV version of twilight I didn't read the book, so I am enjoying this a lot. I especially like the witches and demons. There are no werewolves but the demons make up for it. My only complaint is the narrator's male voices, she needs to try harder on her pitch change when speaking male voices. I'm also a great fan of going back in time, which is why I enjoyed Diana Gabaldons Outlander series so much. To bad Davina Porter didn't read this one. I'm definitely getting the next one in this series.
I tried to stretch out listening to make the book last longer. I could not put it down. Every step of the way it had me. I was glued to it and could think of nothing else. Diana G and Davina P are a kick ass combination. I've read nothing that can compare to this series. All I can say is it better not be finished,
I'm thinking as long as it's written by Diana G and read by Davina P it will get 5 stars from me. If this is the start of a new series I'm in. It had me from the start and kept me spell bound to the end. I want more, thank you very much!!!!!!!!
