Disappointing. #1 novel on Audible in 2006?! I'd categorize it a "cheap dime novel", as we used to refer to books cranked out by authors who stooped to adding sordid events with the hope of attracting more readers. Every other chapter in this book has some unnecessary titillating account with cheap sexual descriptions.
Cutting the storyline in half
Excellent voices, excellent emotion
About half of it. Way too many to enumerate
Yes. Plot was intriguing with a surprise ending that held my interest all the way.

It would be difficult to imagine there could be a book that better described the amazing and horrific event known as WW II
Very thorough history of the evolution of money
Yes. It would be too detailed for some.
It should have been written by a non-involved 3rd party.
She is his wife, but she sounded too proud of him and herself.
This book had no pizazz. Boring.
I loved her book Christy but found myself very disappointed in this.
This book is supposed to be about a man full of faith. He was, but this is a boring book.
Eliminate the foul language and sexual references
Narrator was a bit monotone, lacked expression
