    What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    I was under the impression that this was the second book following the book The Lake House. But it wasn't more like a synopsis of the first. I would love a second part of the Lake house. Loved the bird children.

    I wish this kind of true story was taught in our schools. Maybe it would help our younger generations appreciate what their Grandfathers went through.
