another great storytelling by bill bryson. well worth a credit for any fan. if youve not listened to bryson before, maybe start with a walk in the wood, one of my favourites
excellent story and narration, almost none stop action. characters do tend to get lost as to who's who, but doesnt distract from an excellent story, well worth a credit
fantastic story, well narrated, bryson at his best again, very well paced and never dull, almost makes you want to join him, though at a 2400 km walk not quite
got very bored eith this and couldnt finish it, not really what i was expecting. nore like a nazi miss marple story
well narrated good story , but nothing special
plenty more out there that would be worth the credit
well written, well narrated, an excellent book and value for money, whilst they oputcome is known before you read still it has you on edge through out
a good read but missing something without lincons imput, but story line was still enjoyable
brilliant story , well narrated , worth a credit, agree with others that a little confusing at times wih location but doesnt disract too much from story.
another great jack reacher novel but cant help feeling that so much is missing with abridged version, kerry shale is fantastic as reacher but wait for full un abridged version
a very good book no doubt, especially for anyone with an interest in overland journeys however the poor narration by the paricipants (now elderly gentlemen) spoil the book somewhat.
the phantom major is to date ther best audible book ive downloaded in the last 3 years. not just for SAS fans but thoroughly entertaining for all. the narrator is excellent give convincing accents to most charactors. a facinating true story with a real british stiff upper lip feel. worth downloading even if only a passing interest in WW2 for sheer entertainment
