    Story

I really enjoyed this book -- I was not sure after I read several reviews and they were sort of negative.
Now Me, I liked it . It is told by a 16 year old boy -- which is part of a lot of the reviews but he is 16 so that is his way of thinking and doing things.

His uncle was in this story more which I really liked.

    My opinion worth a listen

As he leaves his small, Midwestern town behind and heads off to marine boot camp, young farm boy Kramer hopes his new life will dull the recent loss of his dearest friend. Years later, battle hardened and war weary, Captain Kramer rescues a pup at the scene of a horrific car bombing while deployed to Afghanistan, and a new friendship is born. Months later Kramer and his new friend, Shadow, are back home in California, recuperating from serious injuries received in a deadly ambush by the Taliban.

    Story

    I enjoyed this book.
This book is about a soldier who comes back from Afghanistan with a wonderful dog named Shadow. They are both removing from wounds they received.

They get involved with a group of college students who are trying to stop dog fighting. Soon local law enforcement and the FBI are together. Trying to stop a local crime lord who is running the dog rings.

The dog fighting scenes were realistic - which were altitude hard but needed to that way.

The narrator did a nice job. The girl voices were a little off but were easy to get use to.

I will be sure to read/listen to the next one in the series.

I enjoyed this story --- the mild mannered lawyer is set up by his partner over money.

Left to die in the Alaskan wilderness he survives and comes back to revenge on the "bad guys. and his swarmy partner and wife

I did not see the Count of M. C in this book. I like a good revenge story --- I wish there had been a little bit more at the end to show the good guy and and new life.

    worth a credit

this installment of the Pike Logan series kept me awake! --The children of some important people in the US government are kidnapped. the daughter of one of Pike's friends is taken along with the Vice President's son.
Well Pike is on the trail and nothing will stop him. Not even his own government.
there was so much action that you are almost worn out!

I had to stop listening several times because I was not paying any attention to the road.
a very very good and intense book. after finishing the book I listened again right away

worth a credit. I have read all of the books about Pike Logan and this one is by far the best one. will buy the next one!

Robert McCall is a former covert operations officer for the CIA who tries to atone for past sins by offering, free of charge, his services as a troubleshooter (often literally), a protector, and an investigator. People in need find him through a newspaper ad: "Got a problem? Odds against you? Call the Equalizer.” Aided by a group of sometimes-mysterious contacts (some of whom date back to his spying days), McCall traverses the streets of New York City, visiting justice upon those who prey upon the weak.
