"I am becoming a better person"
...... by the stories I hear in this series. Choices are made every day, but how often do we really listen and wait for God to help us with the right answer. Good, good book.
"Tough read for me, but great book"
I was emotionally invested in this book and I am so glad I listed to it. I see no end to wanting to hear stories about this great family and how just like us all have our share of secrets and struggles.
"Stuggles we can relate to"
This book was very straight forward and reminded me that we all struggle and have choices that can lead us astray.... God is always there.... we are then ones who don't always see him, not the other way around. Good book!
"Consistently good series"
Just continue with Karen Kingsbury and you will not be disappointed. I am already worried about what I will do when I finish all 3 series on the Baxter family. You get to know these characters and want to stay in the know about their lives and where they will be later on.
"I am officially hooked"
These book are great. I wish they were longer but desipite that I am always intrigued and excited to see where the stories take me.
"Another good book"
Karen Kingsbury does a really good job with this series. Story lines are realisitc and compelling. I look forward to my 'book time' each day.
"Yet another good one"
This is the 3rd one in the series and it was just as good as the others. You get to know these family members so well and can't wait to see what twists and turns their lives take, all the while seeing them draw closer to God.
"Really good booked - moving on to the next one"
If 4.5 was possible that would be my score. It is so nice to listen to stories about Christians who struggle the same way we all do. This book didnt concentrate on one sibling, but the whole family. I am moving on to the next one. I AM HOOKED!
"Big fan already!"
Loved this book and can't wait to hear the stories of all the other siblings in the other 'R" series by Karen Kingsbury. There are great Christian traits seen in characters, but it isn't preachy. It's enough to make you look at yourself and think of how you could improve. I am downloading the next one today. One complaint would be that the story seemed to wrap up a bit quickly, whereas the rest of the book was more detailed, but still loved it.
"Great for my first audio book"
Could be a 5 but I have nothing to compare it to. Some foul language so that could be an issue, but not alot and it was a great story. I was eager to for the next day so I could listen again. I will definitely get the next Lucas Davenport book when it comes out.
