"Heros you care about"
I think anyone even slightly interested in classic comic book hero versus villain stories will enjoy this book. It's funny without ever betraying the genre.
"Painfully bad"
Dan Brown drinking game: Every time you hear the phrase, "My God!" or "What in the world!?!" you must drink.
Listen for an hour. You'll get smashed.
This book is one smug lecture after another, always two people, one playing the part of the skeptic "Skully", the other playing the clever "Fox".
And I actually enjoyed the Da Vinci Code.
"Excellent, but beware"
This makes a great 'guy's book club' pick -- I know my friends are going to love it.
But it's not for those with weak stomachs.
"Fun for King fans"
I don't know much about Mr. Straub's work, but this seemed to me very much a King book. Not a great King book, but worth checking out if you like his style. I think the reader, Mr. Muller is excellent.
"Only for hard sci-fi fans"
A good story with plenty of interesting ideas and believable future technology, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wasn't a hard sci-fi fan. This isn't Star Wars.
"Light, funny."
Moore relies a little to much on stereotypes for laughs, but if you can get past that...
I found it very entertaining, and the reader was excellent. I will be purchasing more books by Moore.
