Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Jan says: "What a great surprise!"
    "An incredible read."
    Overall

This is one of the best books I have experienced in almost 8 years of Audible. I was raised in the South, on the periphery of the experiences of these women. This is a moving, emotional account that will open your eyes to the trials of incredible people. Please don't miss it.

Lisbeth Salander—the heart of Larsson’s two previous novels—lies in critical condition, a bullet wound to her head, in the intensive care unit of a Swedish city hospital. She’s fighting for her life in more ways than one: if and when she recovers, she’ll be taken back to Stockholm to stand trial for three murders. With the help of her friend, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, she will not only have to prove her innocence, but also identify and denounce those in authority.

    B.J. says: "Perfect."
"The best book of the Series!"
    Overall

This book was awesome, the best of the 3 done. One warning, read it on vacation because you really can't put it down!! Great job Mr. Larsson..

First, the unthinkable: a security breach at a secret U.S. government facility unleashes the monstrous product of a chilling military experiment. Then, the unspeakable: a night of chaos and carnage gives way to sunrise on a nation, and ultimately a world, forever altered. All that remains for the stunned survivors is the long fight ahead and a future ruled by fear—of darkness, of death, of a fate far worse.

Nicole says: "You love it or you hate it..."
"The best part of this book is Scott Brick."
    Overall

This book was agony. If you want to read it, I recommend an abridged edition. I stuck with it to the bitter end (which is a whole other can of worms...the ending), hoping it would go somewhere but it never did. I actually got lost a few times, characters coming back to life and whatnot. This is truly not worth the effort. Of course Scott Brick was at his usual excellent self.

The brutal murders of three young boys paralyze the citizens of Platte City, Nebraska. What's worse is the grim realization that the man recently executed for the crimes was a copycat. When Sheriff Nick Morrelli is called to the scene of another grisly murder, it becomes clear that the real predator is still at large, waiting to kill again.

Ronna says: "Potential great thriller-bit like soap opera!!"
    "Great suspense Story"
    Overall

This was a very good listen, I found myself sitting in the car not wanting to stop. There was enough contradictions to keep you guessing all the way to the end. Thoroughly enjoyable book. Am really disappointed the sequel is abridged! Come on give us the whole book please!!

Michelle Maxwell has just blown her future with the Secret Service. Against her instincts, she let a presidential candidate out of her sight to comfort a grieving widow. Then, behind closed doors, the politician whose safety was her responsibility vanished into thin air.

Engrossing story, well read. I usually figure out the story well before the end, but not this time! Intriguing and mesmerizing. Couldn't wait for the end, but didn't want it to be over. Well worth your time.
