Thrown from the wreckage of his '74 Camaro, Paul Sheldon, author of a best-selling series of historical romances, wakes up one day in a secluded Colorado farmhouse owned by Annie Wilkes, a psychotic ex-nurse who claims she is his number one fan. Immobilized from the pain of two shattered legs and a crushed knee, Sheldon is at Annie's mercy.

What did you love best about Gone with the Wind?

The story was incredible. I have seen the movie a time or two. And I loved it. So, I decided to give this book a try. From the first few minutes of the reading I was sucked in. The story is different from the movie. It was deeper and more meaningful. The reading was A+++ I did whatever I could do to get my ear buds in and listen - again. Even Christmas shopping was more delightful. Get this one. If you are interested in a great love story, you will thoroughly enjoy this listen.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Gone with the Wind?

I think the moments when Atlanta fell. Scarlett whether she knew it or not(likely she did not) was saving the lives of others - with no payoff. She just did what was right, like them or not. She did it.

Which character – as performed by Linda Stephens – was your favorite?

Definitely Mrs Melly. or Rhett. Or Scarlett. Yes, it was Mrs. Melly.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Mrs. Melly's death. So much of what could have been good about Scarlett all those years, died with Mrs. Melly.

    Any additional comments?

I will listen to the novel again and again.....
