The story was very interesting and I think it imparted a lot of information about the day-do-day life of those who are wrapped up in this thing. However, I agree with other reviewers in that we never really get the basic premise of the religion explained....so there are some questions. This was still an interesting listen.
No. but she had a slight lisp which was kind of distracting.
The narrator is excellent! A great storyteller. I'm on part four of the book now and don't want it to end. I am not normally a King fan, so this book was a pleasant surprise.
This author spends a lot of time talking about things that don't really matter. I find myself getting very annoyed and begging him to get to the details already. Also, the audiobook has tons of drumming and tapping, which seems to me like a lot of filler. I think I would like this book better in print....it's one of those where you have to skip most of it to get to the good stuff....still listening, not there yet.
