Thoroughly enjoyable! Action, humor, romance and great characters. Bones was awesome. A fully developed character, not just arm candy. I loved that he had a cockney accent. Cat was very like-able, a refreshing change from the either over angsty or trying-way-to-hard-to-be-funny female leads found in so many novels of this genre. It was also soooo nice not to have nearly ubiquitous you're-not-telling-me-what-to-do-you-arrogant-man scene. Jeaniene Frost was clever enough to convey Bone's and Cat's feelings for each other in a dangerous situation without relying on that tired "plot device." Audible, please record the rest of this series!

Yes. There is so much information. I want to re listen so I can write down the cases and research them myself. I also want to read the books written by other authors she mentions.

The overwhelming evidence of media bias. The shameless race baiting by liberal journalists. They salivate over human misery and create it when it doesn't exist. They will not allow racism to die. They lie. They sympathize with murderers. They are the worst racists of all. They use race to leverage power, and they know they can use racial demagoguery to simultaneously increase power amongst their piers and bully dissenters into silence.

I like watching Ann being interviewed, she is really funny. This is no different.

Yes and no. It is very interesting, but also made me so disgusted I had to take a break now and then.

Like I said, this book will make you sick, in a good way, and it is oddly empowering. If what Ann says is true, then we should all be truly brave like Ann Coulter because to do anything less is cowardly and complicit with the worst kind of bigotry, racism, and evil.

This is a great series. I don't know how Correia manages to write so prolifically or so well, but he does. The narrator is fantastic. I wish them both the best.

Undeniable evidence to back her thesis. I have been doing my own research into some of the facts she uses to support her argument. She is absolutely correct each time. I would like to fact check the entire book, but I'll have to buy a hard copy because there is so much. Not a problem, she is an author worth supporting.

There are no "characters," but Ann's writing style is hilarious and insightful.

The French Revolution is extremely interesting and frightening. It sounded like what would happen if Occupy Wall Street got its way. I also liked the discussion of pre WWII Germany. I have been doing my own research into this subject to find out how the Nazi party rose to power. Interesting fact: preWWII German government was trying to stimulate their economy by borrowing massive amounts of money from other countries and using it on social programs for the German people. Right before the collapse of their currency, they were spending more on each citizen than any country in the history of the world. Sound familiar?

Mass Hysteria

Great book. I loved her final conclusions. Especially the end where she calls conservatives to task for wimping when the mob gets violent. She is exactly right about the violent tendencies Liberals exhibit. A family member of mine saw something I wrote about the RNC. He immediately wrote in response, "racist $#!* bags!" I rest my case. My only gripe about the audiobook is the reader, she would be better reading a romance novel.

I rarely say I HATE something, but this book, I HATE. I was delighted when I found Kerrelyn Sparks "Love at Stake" series was made into audiobooks, and there were even a few I had not read. I was even happier to find that Connor was the subject of one of the books. I was a little concerned when I read the summary, but decided to buy when I read the glowing reviews. After listening (suffering) through half an hour, I deleted every trace of this book from my computer. The thought of an angel in the predicament described in the book, calling out "Glory to God," and the descriptions of her "nipples pebbling" was nothing less than stomach churning terrible/wrong/yucky. I SHOULD have listened to the sample, but I never expected this. If the sacrilege wasn't bad enough, the narrator makes it even worse. She is very good at providing the angel's voice, which makes it less funny and more real (weird, I know). This book made me feel like the time I walked in on a friend's dad using the bathroom.

Absolutely fabulous! Gail Carriger is in danger of becoming my favorite author. "Soulless" was funny, romantic, and exciting. Great if you like science fiction, romance, or steam punk. In addition, the narrator was excellent. The best I've ever heard. This book was worth every penny!

Yes, I am an adult woman and I know this book is for teens, but there is so much Twilight hysteria, I had to know what it was all about. Very little. The book is written through the eyes of Bella, the "heroine." She, inexplicably, is the soul mate for the 150 year old Edward. Inexplicable because she is graceless, humorless, and in general a poor sport. This book provides terrible role modeling for young women, as Bella continually worships Edward's beauty and repeatedly says, "Don't leave me!" What does Edward see in her? Apparently she smells delicious.

I love Jane Austin, I have a weakness for vampire romances, and I adore Mr. Darcy. These should all go together well, right? Not in this book. The first half is spent waiting for something to happen. The second half is spent wishing we could get more details about what is happening. The author sticks rigidly to Austin's style, but without the humor which made it so charming. We end up with a fairly boring travelogue punctuated by a few frightening moments and poor Lizzy wondering if she is in bad odor with Mr. Darcy. This could have been an extremely romantic, funny, sexy novel. It was not.

This book takes itself way too seriously. The male lead character is cold and angry. The author made up for his lack of depth and likability by describing in vivid, excruciating detail everything he and the female lead did in bed. Gross. I ended up fast forwarding through the sex just to finish the darn thing. I could not detect any reason for the stupendous (emphasis on the stupid) chemistry between the leads other than the author had decided to write a romantic vampire novel. I read some favorable reviews, and I can see how this book might appeal to some, but I like characters with less angst. I give the book one star and the narrator one star. Hillary Huber did a very good job (I'd give her more stars, but that would help the book). God knows how she suffered through reading all the sex scenes without laughing or opening a window for some fresh air.
