Why we think it’s a great listen: If you’ve ever loved a dog - or even patted a dog - this book, told from the perspective of man’s best friend, will tug at your heartstrings...and won’t let go until long after Welch performs the last word. Enzo knows he is different from other dogs: a philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively and by listening very closely to the words of his master.

Lora says: "Enzo (because he's so wize) for president."

Who was the most memorable character of The Art of Racing in the Rain and why?

I love Enzo!!!!! I crack up every time he mentions the zebra. I must admit that I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this book because of the cover. I would have missed out on a lovely book if it wasn't for the reviews. I absolutely love it and is recommending it to everyone!

Why are you captivated by some people but not by others? Why do you recall some brands yet forget the rest? In a distracted, overcrowded world, how do certain leaders, friends, and family members convince you to change your behavior? Answer: fascination, the most powerful way to influence decision-making. It's more persuasive than marketing, advertising, or any other form of communication. And it all starts with seven universal triggers: lust, mystique, alarm, prestige, power, vice, and trust.

Lanie Evans says: "Hog your Head with Fascinate!"

    Any additional comments?

The book has made me aware of things about my personality that I was not really conscious of. Provokes your thoughts/picks your brain.
