If you could sum up Wild Heat in three words, what would they be?

    sizzling, spitting, steaming

What does Eva Kaminsky bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Logan's voice is very convincing and makes him what he is: a testosterone-filled man - quite impressive considering the female speaker....

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I certainly laughed a couple of times

Fire Chief Noah Callahan can’t understand what’s going on his department. A series of arson fires, broken equipment and unusual accidents plague the firefighters. It’s no surprise when he comes under investigation by Captain Eve Woodward from the Office of Fire Prevention and Control. She arrives in Hidden Cove believing he’s guilty, but soon begins to respect, understand and care about this very good man. A second storyline follows hotshot Zach Malvaso as he befriends, then falls in love with Casey Brennan.

I loved the narration as well as the story - as I did with "After the Fire". Interesting plot, romance and steamy situations are as lividly described as fire fighters at work. Definitely a 5 star audiobook.

What did you like best about Hot as Sin: A Novel? What did you like least?

I liked the character of Sam, I found the drama part of the book (abduction) rather irreal and not very well thought through.

Would you be willing to try another book from Bella Andre? Why or why not?

yes, I liked the first hot shots book. There's hope....

What would have made this romance irresistible?

    A better plot

    Any additional comments?

Unfortunately, not even the steamy scenes were really good. It seems to me that this book was written in a hurry....

Cleary, North Carolina, is a sleepy mountain town, the kind of place where criminal activity is usually limited to parking violations. Not so, lately. Four women have disappeared from Cleary over the past two years. And there's always a blue ribbon left near the spot where each of the women was last seen. There are no bodies, no other clues, and no suspicion as to who their abductor might be. And now, another woman has disappeared without a trace.

Which character – as performed by Stephen Lang – was your favorite?

    Blue or not blue
