My nine-year-old son picked this book out and the two of us listen to it together while working on a fence in our backyard. The story was excellent and it was one we could not stop listening to.

If there were 10 books that one must read during their lifetime this is one. Leadership, courage and a level head with extraordinary leadership. Anyone who leads whether in business or a family can learn from Shackleton's way.

Excellent World War II story of survival after a tragic plane crash deep within the blackness of a remote rain forest surrounded by natives who have never seen a white person or even someone who wears clothing. An innovative rescue that should have made the front page of every newspaper due to its boldness and daring.

the rainmaker by John Grisham I enjoyed this book immensely is the third one of his that I have listened to and enjoyed it the best. The actual recording was of the poorest quality that I've ever experienced with audible. Obviously the download was copied from a CD version of the book. At times the book was interrupted with the words to change the CD in mid-story. Every time a CD needed to be changed the previous sentence was reread. This was very distracting and I was very surprised they allow this quality to occur. It was very distracting and frustrating. When you pay over $20 for these books that should be of the highest quality. I rate the actual recording a one.
