I would recommend this audio book. I find that Stephy Fry performance gives the perfect tonality for Douglas Adams work.
The closest would be the Eyre Affaire.
I believe that they are very comparable but the audio edition is perfect for this story. It gives it a magical and fairy tale like quality .

I enjoyed the scene where Scrooge with the Ghost of Christmas present visit Scrooge's nephew,Fred, Christmas party.
I was particularly moved when the story focus on the Cratchit
I would highly recommend this edition of Christmas Carol.

I do believe that an audiobook is the perfect medium for this type of story.
Probably not, although I found the concept of the story interesting, the execution did not leave a strong impression.
I would listen to other novel narrated by Joel Johnstone.
Probably not, I believe that the audio component is the strong aspect of this novel
