  • No Excuses!: The Power of Self-Discipline for Success in Your Life

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 56 mins)
    • By Brian Tracy
    • Narrated By Brian Tracy

Most people think success comes from good luck or enormous talent, but many successful people achieve their accomplishments in a simpler way: through self-discipline. Brian Tracy knows this firsthand. He didn’t graduate from high school, and after working for a few years as a laborer, he realized he had limited skills and a limited future. But through the power of self-discipline, he changed his life.

    Steve says: "Highly Motivational!"
    "Will change your life"

After a serious nervous breakdown at work I decided my life had to change to prevent this from ever happening again but had no idea on how to go about doing this. The title of this book really appealed to me and after buying and listening to the practical advice this book offers I will recommend it to anybody who needs a life change or a kick in the pants.

  • Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors: Jane Jameson, Book 4

    • UNABRIDGED (8 hrs and 23 mins)
    • By Molly Harper
    • Narrated By Amanda Ronconi
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Just as Jane Jameson’s unlife seems to be stabilizing, fate sinks its fangs firmly into her butt. Despite her near-phobia of wedding planning, her no-frills nighttime nuptials to her sexy boyfriend, Gabriel, are coming along smoothly. That is, until she turns a fatally wounded teenage acquaintance, and the Council pronounces her responsible for the newborn vamp until he can control his thirst.

Kirstin says: "Molly Did it Again!!!"
    "WOOHOO you go Jane Nightingale"
What made the experience of listening to Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors the most enjoyable?

Dick putting his foot in it again and the antics of the new vampire in the family :)

What other book might you compare Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors to and why?

Not easy to compare this book or series to another as I find the characters and story very unique and I like the fact that the story doesn't focus heavily on the sex aspect but on the story itself. I can say this, I can't wait to start listening to How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf. Hurry up credits!

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

I like the way Amanda is able to change her voice so that each character has their own unique characteristics and are instantly recognizable

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but had to pace myself, that was not fun as you want to hear what is going to happen next and waiting is murder lol

    Any additional comments?

Get it! Good twists to the tale especially one you never would have thought of. When you re-listen to the book you will give a good giggle at how wrong you got the story,

  • Once Burned: A Night Prince Novel, Book 1

    • UNABRIDGED (8 hrs and 30 mins)
    • By Jeaniene Frost
    • Narrated By Tavia Gilbert
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

After a tragic accident scarred her body and destroyed her dreams, Leila never imagined that the worst was still to come: a terrifying ability to channel electricity and to see a person's darkest secrets through a single touch. Leila is doomed to a life of solitude ... until creatures of the night kidnap her, forcing her to reach out with a telepathic distress call to the world's most infamous vampire. Vlad Tepesh inspired the greatest vampire legend of all - but whatever you do, don't call him Dracula.

Hassan says: "LOVED it from the beginning"
"Your feet are on fire and Vlad did it smiling"
Would you listen to Once Burned again? Why?

Yes, extremely funny and to have a chuckle at Vlads anticks

Would you be willing to try another book from Jeaniene Frost? Why or why not?

Yes, all her books are well written with an engrossing story. I already have all her Audiobooks including The Bite before Christmas and I can't wait for her next book to come out, Hopefully one about Ian.

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

Vlad, the accent and sarcasm are excellent

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The part of the book I found particularly funny was when Vlad talks back to the herioness and she finds out he can hear her thoughts. I was on my walk and I stopped walking to listen to that part.

    Any additional comments?

Good book, get it, you won't be disappointed if you enjoy Vampire Romance novels
