He is the best narrator I've come across so far - really makes it!
Yes, did like the book.
Great story, but sad ending, which wasn't necessary!
Yes! Quite a few! Humphrey Bower is by far the best narrator around!
No, too long!!
Ending a bit disappointing - too sad with 2 people commiting suicide - was this necessary? Rest story great!
have some sort of chronological sequence.
It's ok. Story is very haphazard - goes from one story to a totally different one.
it's a true story
Don't feel so bad when it's cold!
was hoping there would have been more information on Sheckelton's leadership.
Too much of a war story, quite boring really...
make it more of an epic story, not a boring war story...
Yes, his performance is great, the book was just the worst i've listened to or read of Bryce Courtney
It's a great epic story from start to finish. I can recommend it to anyone that loves a good story.
THe narrator is fantastic too, which is important with an audible book.
The content makes you think, and you do learn from it (though it's very black & white)
Michael's performance is good, but I found Jill's voice very annoying. Wouldn't buy another audio book by this narrator.
