Theo Boone might only be 13, but he's already uncovered key evidence in a groundbreaking murder trial and discovered the truth behind his best friend's abduction. Now with the latest unfolding of events in Strattenburg, Theo will face his biggest challenge yet. Filled with the intrigue and page-turning suspense that made John Grisham a number-one international best seller and the undisputed master of the legal thriller, Theodore Boone's adventures will keep listeners enthralled until the very last minute.

What made the experience of listening to Theodore Boone: The Accused the most enjoyable?

The mystery ultimately gets solved and this extension of the earlier books helps carry the story forward. I wish all of Grisham's books were like that.

What other book might you compare Theodore Boone: The Accused to and why?

The series was fun reading and should be required reading for civics class in Junior High.

Have you listened to any of Richard Thomas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think he is a terrible reader, but a great narrator. He does not change voice inflection so that one can easily tell who is speaking.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did because it was convenient.

    Any additional comments?

I love the series and wish Grisham would write a sequel to The Partner, it begs for a sequel .

Born to a prominent Chicago judge and his stifled socialite wife, Mia Dennett moves against the grain as a young inner-city art teacher. One night, Mia enters a bar to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. But when he doesn't show, she unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger. With his smooth moves and modest wit, Colin Thatcher seems at first like a safe one-night stand. But following Colin home will turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia's life.

It was hard to listen to after awhile. Elizabeth is a passionate person and after a bit it becomes hard to listen to pages and pages of her enthusiasm. Her passion became painful to listen to and I had to put the book down for a while. I was glad when it was over and I usually don't think that way about books.

A play-by-play of the political forces and media culture that vilified and ultimately brought down Hillary Clinton during her 2016 Presidential campaign. The Destruction of Hillary Clinton is an answer to the question many have been asking: how did an extraordinarily well-qualified, experienced, and admired candidate - whose victory would have been as historic as Barack Obama's - come to be seen as a tool of the establishment, a chronic liar, and a talentless politician?

Herman D says: "Well done and worth reading"

This was a clear and concise explanation of what happened, when it happened and why did it happen. We all expected a fair and untethered election....it was neither. It was an illegitimate election of a very poor businessman, but a conman, running for the highest office in the world with the help of Russia and our US Press and of course, the FBI (who refused to comment on the ongoing Russia investigation of the president but who did not mind commenting on the ongoing investigation of Hillary).
I never thought I would live to see the day when our Congress would let the Russians decide who would be our president. Yes, Hillary made a few mistakes....but the truth is stranger than fiction. If we survive this administration we can never let this happen again!

I wish Hillary had someone else read it to us, who anger was both a distraction and annoyance, although I can fully understand all of her emotions.

Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. This is her most personal memoir yet.

If you could sum up Camino Island in three words, what would they be?

    An interesting tale.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bruce, a smart and intelligent and clever man.

What aspect of January LaVoy’s performance would you have changed?

More distinction on her voice and more consistency on the character's voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Mercer came back to the her aunt's house.

    Any additional comments?

    It screams for a sequel.

Would you try another book from Sonia Sotomayor and/or Rita Moreno?

Not read by Rita, she is a terrible reader. The most boring reader I've ever listened to and her voice trails off and it is hard to understand what it is that she is trying to say.

The value of the history of these women, whether Republican or Democrat cannot be overstated. Their commitment to their husband's legacy stands tall in the face of personal challenges. Apparently, only Ronnie, was loyal and faithful to the dignities of the office he represented. True to form, behind every successful man...is a woman with ambition. Only Hilary has repeatedly demonstrated time and again, in the face of tremendous obstacles, her unquenching desire to personally lead the country with a commitment that women's rights are human rights, and human rights are women's rights. She stands on the shoulders of these giants who have indeed participated in the background as co-presidents.
