As the dramatic fulfillment of biblical prophecy is unleashed upon an astonished world, World War III begins. Although the small band of believers called Tribulation Force have been scattered by the outbreak of the war, they draw strength from their faith in Christ. Still working for Nicolae Carpathia, the evil world leader, Rayford Steele helps the believers by passing on information about Nicolae's devastating plans.

    Story

While the story surrounding the end-time events depicted in the Left Behind series is definitely extra-Biblical and fictionalized, the timeline of the events is based on the well-researched and Biblically accurate work of Dr. Tim LaHaye. Not all Christians will agree on the timeline and description of endtime events, but Dr. LaHaye's theological work on this subject is exhaustive and well-respected. The third installment in the series, Nicolae, continues the series with no reduction in Jenkins' mastery of dialogue and breathtaking suspense. As a side note, it always makes me giggle to see the psychopathic anti-faith ranting of pseudo-intellectual pinheads who try to minimize the seriousness of the issue of faith while hypocritically spending the time necessary to write an offensive and inane comment. If the issue of faith is that repugnant and idiotic to you, why bother? Go back to your mind-meld with Nietzsche and Richard Dawkins, and leave people of faith in peace.
