No. Authors like Vince Flynn research every aspect of their story to make it believable. In contrast, Tom Clancy clearly doesn't understand Information Technology because some of his statements remind me of NCIS episodes - meaningless techno babble.
I don't know if it was because of the abundance of characters in the story, but the voices Lou used for some characters were terrible. I have to admit, anyone narrating this book would have a hard time.
After listening to Vince Flynn's books, this was very disappointing. Vince Flynn kept me in the car after arriving at work. Tom Clancy made me want to fall asleep behind the wheel.
At times I thought I was listening to the movie "Guys and Dolls" because Tom Clancy characters don't use contractions when they speak. Very annoying.
No, the entire book could be condensed into a couple chapters. It sometimes comes across as over-dramatic. There is some good info, but way too much time spend on analyzing politicians and a former coach. The authors are clearly liberals.
It just kind of ends ubruptly. These guys might know how to detect deceptive behavior, but they're not great authors.
Without Fred, I would not have finished the book.
