I did not see the ending to this one coming...maybe I am naive, but King is so good at very descriptive storytelling that you get so engrossed in the characters that you feel like you are right there experiencing everything yourself! What can I say about James Woods!!! He was the perfect match for telling this story! When the movie came out and I watched it, even though I love Depp he couldn't do it justice after hearing Woods tell the story. I wished they had Woods do the movie! I highly recommend this audio book!!!!

I love all of the stories, especially Big Driver. I actually read the novel before buying the audible version. I would have loved to have heard Kathy Bates perform the two stories from the women's perspectives and I am still trying to decide if I like Wasson's narration. Having said that, I still highly recommend this book!

I love this story and saw the movie with James Woods, it was great! I did not like the narration at all. I just can't get into it and can't seem to get past the first 5-10 minutes.

This is a neat story and Kathy Bates does an excellent job narrating it! I enjoyed this much more than the movie.

This is truly a HORRIFIC story because it could be happening to anyone you know. Again...King is at his best! I remember when I first heard the beginning of this story how mad & upset I was at Norman!!! A story had not made me feel that way in a long time. I have a lot of audio books and Blair Brown was a perfect choice for Rose. I also was pleasantly surprised to hear Norman's character read by a male voice (King himself). That added so much more to the listening experience. My Husband who doesn't read anything that isn't automotive related LOVES this story. We played our cassette tapes so much that they literaly broke apart. (That is how long we have been listening to this story.) I was so thrilled to be able to buy this version for my Epic 4G!!! I highly recommend this audiobook!
