"A must read as usual"
Fascinating new line.
Christmas
Just the right amount of expressive story telling for each situation.
Not to be missed.
As alway a wonderful way to spend my spare time with a James Patterson thriller wonderfully read. Thank you.
"Bronte is Bronte"
I am furious that no mention was made of the fact that if a reader does not speak or understand french, the book is a complete waste of money. The story as usual is excellent, but there was no sense in continueing to read if half the story was being lost.
I strongly suggest that you let you perspective know about this problem.
"Fit to Serve against All Odds. A credit to all."
What a marvellous story. What an incredible man. Written with honesty and humour. Narrated with warmth and understanding. Have recommended it to all I see and hope everybody who may read this review will buy the book.
"Days of Yore!"
I bought the book purely because it was narrated by Davina Porter, whom I adore, and got what I was not expecting as far as the story was concerned, but nevertherless a rather good love story with a different angle. Enjoyable, easy reading.
"A must read for all ages."
What more is there for me to say. Read it at school, again when older but it was marvellous to have it read to me by such a marvellous narrator. Thank you for the opportunity.
"Great entertainment value"
Very good story line but really gets a trifle unbelieviable as it races towards the end. The characters are good and believiable and narration excellent. A fair copy of "Vine Flynn"! I can recommend it to anyone who enjoys spy thrillers.
"Not enough hours ....."
What can I say? I have read all of Kate Morton that you have to offer and now feel a need for more. She is a brilliant story teller and the book, as usual, is narrated magnificintly.
"A Man of All Times, I say!"
A difficult book to review. I was enthralled by the incredible tale of this very sad man. The narrator was amazing, the script brilliant but if a reader is not into history I would not recommend. However, if anything like me - go for it. It is memorable.
"Riverton was Riviting"
This is the first book of Kathy Morton that I have had the pleasure to read. A delightful, riveting story and the narator was magnificent. It led me to check for further books by the same author and I have just completed and enjoyed, once again, The Secret Garden. Such a change to read a book with no sex, violence or horror. A lovely fairy tale, beautifully written and read. Thank you.
"Another wonderful read"
As usual her book has an excellent story line, just a pity the ending was 'unfinished' and left me a trifle let down. Did they succeed with the court case or what?
Jilly Bond was excellent.
"Differently brilliant, clever and enchanting"
Most definitely. There is so much I might have missed. Also it was such a delight to listen
to.
Too many to choose from
He made every character come alive in their own special way. What a magnificent reader he is. Would like to hear more of him.
His encounter with his dying 'grandfather'.
It must be one of the most wonderful books that I have read in many years and I am of 'many years'! Well done to all concerned.
