Experience Macbeth as a powerful full-cast drama with entertaining and enlightening commentary that explains what's what and who's who as the plot unfolds. To help you get the most out of Shakespeare, the narrator offers historical insights and background information, so you can enjoy the jokes, appreciate the references, and get a real sense of Shakespeare's world.

    Overall

This is a really great audio program. Very high quality sound, narration is very useful and I came away with more knowledge of Shakespeare's history, the circumstances behind writing the play, and an understanding of what the classical language is trying to say. Highly recommended if you are at all interested in Shakespeare.

It's 1951, and the last place any sane man wishes to visit is Thebes State Penal Farm (Colored) in Thebes, Mississippi. Surrounded by swamps and impenetrable woods, it's the Old South at its most brutal. Few visitors make it out alive, but Sam Vincent and Earl Swagger must investigate a disappearance. Pale Horse Coming is a stunning story of violence and retribution, written with the same high velocity of Hunter's classic thrillers.

    Overall

This was my first experience at listening to a novel on audio; I've listened to self-help books and biographies many times, and love learning things. I have to say that the narrator did a superb job, making distinct sound changes to make each character of the book sound just as if Mr Hunter himself had prescribed it in the introduction of the book...amazing. As for the content, it was a gripping novel, very well written and very realistic, as I've found Mr Hunter's novels to be. Superb.
