    This was written some time in the 70's so technology that we have today wasn't even dreamed of yet, but the story is worth listening to. A bit on the long side, but so was Lucifer's Hammer.

    After reading some of the other reviews I was apprehensive about the book and almost didn't purchase it. I'm glad that I did. I found that the book is an intellectual thriller. It is however for adults only.

    I couldn't even listen to the book as the sound quality is terrible, very garbled. Tried with ear buds which was a bit better, but playing it through the car speakers was impossible. This has been the only book from audible that I've had this problem with.
